As stated earlier, I doubt that they'll be able to add anything in the name of characters if we're talking updating UMvC3.

I'd like to think that, but there's really no guarantee right now. The best we can do is keep voicing our opinions (since supposedly Jay Ong reads NeoGAF, & we know for a fact that Capcom USA does the same).
I think Capcom characters fall under Capcom's jurisdiction.
As far as Marvel characters go, all I ask are for Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Nova [Richard Rider], Green Goblin, Black Panther, Quicksilver, & Scarlet Witch.
I apologize for the double-post, but even Max has covered this news (I'm surprised it took this long).

Does Marvel 4 have touch of death combos or do they try to tone it down for the casuals?
I was championing Captain Marvel (at the time she was still Ms. Marvel) from Day 1. Was annoyed that she was left out of the initial roster, and then when they had the chance to include her in Ultimate not only did they leave her out again, but none of the new additions were female.. on either Marvel or Capcom's side.
I single out Nova because most of his moves could've went to Carol, someone who I felt was more deserving of the spot. I was happy for the people who got what they wanted, but aside from that the game was nonexistent to me. :lol

Anyone who's excited for Marvel and liked Phoenix Wright in UMvC3 is good in my book.
That has been my mantra forever on twitch when the conversation presents itself. It's not a matter of when, not if. The series is just too exciting and unique to not make a comeback eventually.
A relatively balanced Marvel game on the esports scene would do wonders for both Capcom and Disney.
Further, Capcom really needs to make a Capcom vs Jump, Capcom vs Capcom because no other game quite fills the MvC void.

I can agree with that. Since I was a little kid I've always wanted Shonen Jump Vs. Capcom or a Capcom All-Stars fighter. Marvel just seems like most likely as of now though.

Nope, Disney isn't fan of seeing their characters battle it out so the chance of that is unlikely. Plus, the contact would happens between Marvel Game department and Capcom which have nothing to do with Disney.

I'm curious how much the Marvel license is to renew (if Capcom wanted to re-release UMvC3). Activision did so with Deadpool and might possibly be with the MUA games. I know Activision makes a ton more money than most other game companies though, so it's probably chump change to them.
