Also, PT? I love it, but I wouldn't put it in a list of games, even though I cling to my demo on my PS4.
Also, holy fuck, that's a really questionable list.

A few takeaways:
1. Why are they listing unfinished games and/or demos? I'd have though that any serious Top Whatever list would at least have the game as a finished product as one of the criterion for inclusion. It's stuff like this is why we're stuck with Games as a Service crap since even the game journalists have no standards, so why even give consumers a finished game?
2. 3D World at 14 and no Mario Odyssey? That's a flat What?!
3. Death Stranding isn't even out yet. That will age badly.

I don't like polygon to begin with. They are a low hanging fruit type of site that's a weird mesh of the the laziness of ign, and the stupidly of kotaku.

Course I don't like them after they banned me last year for posting a comment on a article about great games made by black people and my response was something like "wouldn't it be better to praise people who make great games instead of only giving someone special attention and praise for their skin color?" And bang, insta ban. And I very rarely ever commented on stuff there. Oh well.

All souls games should be at the top... No Dark Souls 2, No Last Guardian, Boring Control instead of Alan Wake, no Soma, no Hellblade... not a lot of games. This list is fucked

As with the last shitty list someone shared here on GAF, having an opinion is anyone’s right. And I have a right to share my opinion that this list— like the other one from Paste or whatever-the-fuck-it’s-called— is a steaming pile of goatshit.

IGN said "best games if all time" but did the same list.

Why are the write ups for these lists always so shit? Look at this entry for Life Is Strange:

Who talks about games like this/ talks like this at all? It's a "puzzle game" (??) with "plot directional choices" (???) that "makes merry" (????) with "time travel dynamics" (?????). Obviously I can tell what he's getting at but come on. Why is the writing this awkward from someone who is, presumably, paid to write?
