In 2017 Pornhub averaged 81 million visitors per day (28.5 billion visitors for the year), with 24.7 billion searches performed.
The global community was active as well, with over four million videos totaling 595,492 hours uploaded. That's 68 years of porn.
Every five minutes, Pornhub transmits more data than the entire contents of the New York Public Library's 50 million books. (data in terms of "bytes" of course)
Top three trending searches were "Porn for Women", "Rick and Morty" and "Fidget Spinners." (the f*ck?)
Riley Reid and Jordi El Nino Polla were the top searched-for female and male porn stars, respectively. Reid racked up a whopping 549mm video views, followed by Mia Khalifa at 443mm views and Lisa Ann with 279mm views
All major sporting events around the world saw a drop in porn viewing versus an average day.
On a worldwide scale, Millennials ruled the porn-viewing landscape. Ages 25 to 34 accounted for 32%. Not to be left out, the 65+ demographic accounted for 4%. The top search term for age 18-24 was "lesbian," while both the 25-34 and 35-44 group searched for "Japanese" the most. Perhaps they have international travel on the mind for the midlife crisis. "Milf" was the dominant search term for ages 45 and up, with the phrase "naked twerking" gaining the most ground in the 55-64 demographic because they probably were trying to find out what the hell twerking is.
