Ok, I'm a big skeptic and will side on natural scientific explanation, but all the other videos only touch on the spiral effect, not the pulse rail-gun looking trail from the ground... thats not smoke. A missle going up like the video of the Titan failure had tons of fuel smoke in the air... there was no evidence of smoke anywhere. Show me something that explains the blue trail from the single point on the ground.

The explanation is: Russian ballistic missile test. This is agreed upon by everyone. You all look like caveman debating this :P

No offense to Norwegians, but I think if I were an alien species or whatever, capable of producing a space-time portal, or whatever, I think I could pick a few other places on the earth I'd rather travel to than Northern Norway in freaking December. If this portal was over Fernando de Noronha right about now, I could understand...

Depends on what they used for propellant in their rocket, a lot of the stuff burns blue. As for the smoke, that's mostly present immediately after launch, by the time it reach Norway airspace it'd have tapered off some.

I, for one, welcome our new Scarran overlords.

Dudebro! It's straight up dawg time! WHERE ARE YOU

Wut? I thought he had that shit wiped from his mind after using it?

Ah, I see Santa Claus has begun his preparatory tests. One of his propulsion discs obviously went out performing a swift jack-knife maneuver. Hope he's okay.

Fixed.

You really think Big Red would pilot the test launch himself when he's got an army of diminutive slaves?

Want something done right? Do it yourself. That's Nick's motto. Elves are good for making toy trains and stealing Wii systems, but... beyond that? Nope.

Wait, I looked at this thread in the morning and thought "bah, more viral shit" but this is actually real? What in the fuck?

Missile experts says that failed missile launches often looks like that... and Russia likes testing missiles in that area. They say they didn't do it but it's Russia so they are probably just fucking with us. :D

Yeah but Russia say they didn't do any missile tests.

Just like they deny parking their aircraft carrier only one nautical mile away from our oil platforms...

For the first time in my life I am not skeptic about something :lol

Hell, I am even truly interested!

According to TV2, Norway's largest privately owned broadcaster, sources in the Russian Military confirms that it's a failed missile test, launched from a submarine in the White Sea. There, can we lay it to rest now?

This picture got me thinking about a TV series(maybe a movie) I can't seem to remember. It's about a commercial jet going through maybe a whirl hole and into another dimension. The only scene I remember is that the place they were staying on was getting eaten by something (space eating creatures?), and another scene where the plane would escape that place and the pilot would be going through this bizarre vortex light show. Any help?

The Langoliers, based on a story by Stephen King. Freaked me right out when I was 12 or so and saw it on the tv.
