Given what has been shown, i think it's safe to assume you won't get modern, fast shooting guns.
He uses a slow double barrel shotgun in the video, which is not different (in terms of mechanics) from what a crossbow in DkS could've done.

This is a lot of speculation when even the trailer we've seen so far doesn't confirm this.

For those of you asking why Japan Studio isn't shown, it would not had been proof anyway.

The way credits work when it come to trailers is that it always start off with

Black Screen with SCE Presents, a transition to Japan Studio logo, only then do they credit the main development team.

In other words, any Japan Studio logo or webm wouldn't be distinguishable as part of the Project Beast trailer.

Looking at it more closely, it does indeed look like he's carrying a shotty.

I can clearly see the shotgun now that it's been pointed out. I just assumed it was a melee weapon, but it definitely is a shotgun of sorts.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if this game was real but turned out to be the surprise, rumoured third-party exclusive for Xbone ha ha!! That thread my friends, would be priceless.
