He starts out working with Chun-Li in the story, mechanically he's an assist character.

One of the things he throws in his attack is _the_ Golden Axe, as a reference to his game's staff development history and an aesthetic mode in the home version of his game where everything references Golden Axe.

This game's staff is either filled with fanboys or they did their homework very very well - either way, they deserve some of my money for the extent they've let that show in the game.

Kinda hoping for future sequels too with mixed teams, more companies (SNK would be nice, Konami might make it first) and 3+ character specific assaults (Ryu + Ken + Hideo in NxC was glorious, more please).
