Forgive my ignorance on the matter, but could you also attach your own HD to this for use with HDLoader, or is the network/HD adaptor an entirely different piece o' hardware? Thanks.

tedtropy - Yes, you can use your own HDD with HDLoader - the NA is what you use to attach the HDD.

The network adaptor is required in order to use the HDD, so yes you can attach a HDD to the network adaptor and use it for the HDDloader. You should research though cause some 3rd party HDDs won't work

Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for a deal on the PS2 Network adaptor for some time. Just placed an order. Now I can try my luck at Champions of Norrath online.

Champions of Norrath online kinda sucks :|

Poor online network structure (no lobby, friends list), lots of disconnections, bad design, etc.

I've heard Maxtors tend to be the best bet, though they're not the quitest drives in the world and my oldass PS2 is loud enough. Any particular model numbers/brands I should go for?
