The 360 has ALWAYS had the price advantage on the PS3 and has almost always had a sku half the price (technically the arcade has always been priced at 50-60% of the lowest PS3's price). Furthermore, time has shown that the 360 is nearing it's downturn in the cycle. It's effectively seen two price drops (one fake, one real) this year and neither has given it a single boost in sales.
I did say that PS3 outselling 360 this holiday was likely, not a given. If the price drop next month turns things around OR the 360's exclusive lineup this fall is enough to push it back ahead, then likely will turn into "ain't happening". But the biggest exclusive title 360 has this fall is GeoW2 which quite simply may not be enough, in the face of other big titles this fall (GHWT, RB2, CoD:WaW, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, etc) or even in the face of Sony exclusives as well (R2 and SOCOM).
We'll see. Who knows..
