PS3 emulator RPCS3 now supports most games. Playable to the end.

Demon's Souls works great on RPCS3, 4k 60+ FPS, 0 issues (finished a 50h full playthrough last month). There's even an "online" mode, allowing to tweak with world tendancy.

Hmmm maybe im missing something but of the three Uncharted games, the first played the best for me.

I've completed U1 and U2 on Rpcs3 recently and have started U3.

Configurations are automatic but you still need to set the patches yourself. And in some games add Canary patches.

Also I think Lossless Scaling with 2x frame generation works really well with RPCS3. Games like GT5 run super smooth.

Playnite + RPCS3 + Lossless Scaling (with auto profile) + Moonlight is an absolute dream.

Lossless Scaling works really well with RPCS3 especially if you don't got the hardware for it. It will smooth it out and give you a good experience.

I played Uncharted 2 the other day with almost 0 problems at 60 fps
Wtf, I though "in game" games couldn't be completed.

"This title is currently not considered "playable", as the hardware requirement is too high. But it can be played from start to finish with decent performance on a good CPU and GPU, especially if you use the game's patches."

That's not "in game", it's "playable if you're rich". They need some more tags.

I've been using it almost exclusively to play Pinball Arcade with all of the tables unlocked. It's a great collection that no other system has ever duplicated.

Look at the "last updated" date. They haven't had their tags updated in years, and RPCS3 has been vastly improving over time. I'm sure they still have some minor bugs but, from what I know, as of May of 2026 they are completely playable with good hardware.

Was wondering the other day why we don't see more mainstream oriented, Android or Linux based emulation boxes that mimic home consoles. Emulation handhelds seem to be huge right now, but there's not a lot happening in the emulation stationary box department. Would be cool to have something user friendly for this purpose in a couple years when mobile tech is cheap and strong enough to emulate a PS3 like that.
