PS4 Black Friday Deals Revealed

Also I think the Lego Batman and LBP3 bundle could be a real hit for kids. Microsoft has really aggressive pricing sure, but their bundles all include mature rated games.

That is the exact reasoning on choosing those two titles. Kids love LEGO and Batman plus who doesn't love LittleBigPlanet?

The best part I all of this is that when and if Xbox One wins Nov, people are going to go nuts. Problem is that while I think it probably is going to happen, it won't be by much at all AND it is that much cheaper.

I guess the PR momentum might help, but I can't see how Xbox will be able to ever increase the price back up without stopping dead in it's tracks.
Yeah, I think Xbox will win November but will still be far behind PS4 in total.
Sony probably has December though.

Man......a lot of the posters on GAF show their true colors in these type threads. Geez.
These bundles will sell out period. $399 or not.

Yeah, I expect MS to take November but I expect it'll be by a much slimmer margin than expected.

Not nearly as good as the xbone ones. That GTA bundle needed to be at least 349 if not 329.

At this point they have no official BF bundles. They are selling the same bundles they have now at $20 cheaper. Asscreed bundle mostly, one mediocre bug fest AC and one that is a year old and found easily for $15-$20.

IMO the LBP3 + Lego is a killer deal for a family, both games are brand new, $60 values.

This is a killer deal if you haven't played GTAV or Last of Us before (I haven't played either, though I already own a PS4; I'll have to ask Santa for a couple things this Xmas). However, I would hope that a killer PS4 bundle would have something exclusive to the new generation at least; what if the potential buyer of this thing has already played these games on PS3 when they were released? At least toss in Knack or something new/exclusive in there, even if it's more of a token title.

Going to have to try to get in on the Wal-Mart online deal:

PS4 + GTAV + TLOU + two games of your choice - $450

Wal-Mart has my attention.

I really hope PS4 wins November just for ridiculous amounts of crow.

Good bundles, btw. The TLoU/GTA one will sell out pretty fast.

70$ cheaper will win November. Target is giving 50$ card. WalMart is giving 30$ card for MCC bundle.

Xbox has November and if they can produce the white one for Christmas they may be able to win December too.

I don't see GTAV selling as much as some are thinking it will. I could but dead wrong

Their number 1 competitor is now undercutting them severely, so no, this isn't at all like the market situation this past year.

$399 is not being competitive at all.

That would do wonders for this bundle.

THAT would be phenomenal value.

the competitor is desperate to sell every last console they possibly can just to even out for a month.

MS sees a barren wasteland of software coming in early 2015 which will likely halt all momentum and sales generated so they are trying their best to sell atleast 4 million consoles this holiday season to reach 10m by the beginning of the year. That is their hope anyway.

Sony just having a solid holiday will put them in a ridiculous position going into 2015 which has a ton of potentially great exclusive software for the first half of 2015 and titles like No Mans Sky, Persona, Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf, possibly WiLD, etc. for the 2nd half of 2015.

MS sees the future here and 2015 will only see an even higher demand for the PS4. So really, this is the one shot they have until what, Holiday 2015? It could be 35m vs. 13m by the time that comes around.

MS is doing what they are doing to BE competitive. Sony responding with great games for free with the original price of the system everyone wants in the first place is just icing on the cake for those looking to pick one up this Holiday season

Precisely.

Folks need to realize that there is a massive $70 gap between what the XB1 is offering and the PS4 bundles.

That's too much of a sticker shock for consumers during the holidays.

Less powerful console and all that, there should be a price difference... Then you add in the worldwide sales difference, MS had to drop the price, Sony didn't...

People shouldn't react if one or two posters say it isn't good value. Whenever prices are cut or offers are revealed, there are always a few people that do the whole 'this is bad value, it should be $50 cheaper'.

By that logic....

...dammit.

Come on... the Wii U is not a competing for the same sale dollars that the PS4/XB1 are competing for. A person going into Gamestop looking at a next gen system is going to look at the PS4 and the XB1. The Wii U is basically its own market.

Wal-Mart has my attention.

Yeah, definately..

Aiming for this bundle:

PS4 + GTA V+ TLOU + COD:AW + DA:I for $450.

I haven't played GTA V or TLOU yet, so those games I would want to get anyway. COD:AW and DA:I are also two games I would want to pick up.. Usually bundles come with games I wouldn't care about, but it looks like the stars are lining up for me this holiday season, assuming I am able to get in on the deal and the wal-mart website holds up.

Its odd to think that Sony would just drop the price for the hell of it to win a few when they will still sell quite alot at the same price.

You will.

I love my PS4 (use it for FFXIV + indies daily), but I think it's telling that the four PS4 bundle games are all cross gen...

The point is, while price will certainly help, assuming it will be an automatic trump card is plainly flawed. Price parity didn't move the needle.

Right, we can go back to the Titanfall 399 bundle announcement with people thinking that everything would change from that moment.
