So far I'm having a good time with Warframe and I've been playing this the most. Killzone is a graphical marvel with some varied battles but I found it hard to stay immersed in the narrative. Knack is fun to play with my son and I enjoy the simple mechanics. Resogun is amazing.
Using the REAL scale...
Killzone SF: 6/10
Madden: 6.5/10
NFS Rivals: 8/10
Warframe: 7/10
Battlefield 4: 8.75/10 (When I can play it)
Resogun: 7.5/10
Usually that first bite is all I need to know whether or not I'm gonna enjoy the burger. Just sayin!I was semi-interested until reviewers started pointing out framerate issues...in a racing game that's only running at 30 FPS. No thank you.
I think im liking Killzone more than most. Its gorgeous, its non-linear, feels really good. Interesting, different multiplayer. Complaints about Bad AI and getting lost easily are definitely valid though.

Resogun is the best launch game imo. So much addicting fun, great co-op too.
Contrast is unique but may bore you (I personally like it, great atmosphere).
2k is great, bar a few problems. Best sport game available this launch with FIFA probably close behind.
BF4 runs and plays amazingly. But most of the maps suck. And I don't find it fun to play without friends. Single player gets boring after a while, but it's a good showcase for the game.
Killzone looks amazing. What I've played from the single player was pretty dull. But man the multiplayer, steals the show, I like it better with Battlefield 4s.
That's all I've played. I plan on picking up Lego Marvel this weekend cause the PS3 demo was fun as hell and it's a great couch co-op. I heard it's great on PS4 so why not?
yea it took me a while to figure it out too. Every so often, the announcer will say "Keepers Detected". Each human cage is assigned to a Keeper and when that keeper is killed, the cage opens and the human is released. The keepers are the enemies that have a green glow. Basically they are just a group of normal enemies that glow green. Some keepers are only on the screen for a few seconds though so if you dont kill them in time, the human dies in the cage. Once the keeper is destroyed, a green beam of light shoots from the now dead keeper, to the human cage that it corresponds to, and releases that human. If you have any questions, let me know!I've only played a few of the launch games but I'm finding this thread to be incredibly useful kudos to those that took the time out to write a little something up.
Resogun - I love it. It is very challenging but also rewarding I'm a big shump fan and SSHD was one of my most played games on PS3. I'm still having a bit of trouble trying to figure out the mechanic of when humans are released though. It's certainly worthy of the free download. I'd even pay the asking price for it without plus. I'll be playing resogun for quite a while.
