Amazing.
After several days of fine tinkering and editing, I've finally finished my ambitious first video using footage from Infamous: Second Son (minor story and power spoilers):

Having to re-trim clips every time I moved other clips around was really annoying, but now that I know how most of SHAREfactory works there will hopefully be less headaches in the future. I also wish the lower music volume (which can be done by splitting the music and then adjusting the volume for each split music section) was a bit more seamless, but I think overall this came out satisfactory.
