A lot of people look at the $150 pre-order for NBA 2K23 and just think it's 2K cramming it with all of their MyTeam and MyCareer stuff, but it's not. It's actually an insane deal.

The $150 "MVP" edition includes the $100 Deluxe edition with all of that DLC crap, but it also includes a one-year subscription to NBA League Pass.

NBA League Pass is like MLB TV or NFL Sunday Ticket as it allows you to stream out-of-market NBA games for every team for the entire season. A one-year subscription to NBA League Pass without the NBA TV add-on is $200 by itself.

So you can look at it two ways, either your buying the $100 NBA 2K23 and getting a huge discount on League Pass for the year at $50.

Or you're getting the $200 NBA League Pass for $150 and you get a free copy of NBA 2K23 deluxe with it.

The deal is only good for pre-orders and goes away at midnight/9pm PST tomorrow when the game comes out.

NBA League pass is now $100 - https://www.blazersedge.com/2022/9/...ase-for-2022-23-season-portland-trail-blazers

NBA 2K23 next gen is $70 so with this $150 edition your basically getting $20 off league pass = $70 2k next gen + $80 League pass = $150

NBA League pass standard is $100 and premium is $130 so idk which edition of league pass comes with the game but knowing 2k I assume its the standard edition.

It was $200 last year.

And this edition includes everything in the $100 Jordan edition, so you're getting League Pass for 50% off.

Appreciate the heads-up, particularly for those interested in League Pass.

Personally, LP would be a lot more enticing if it included the home-market team’s games as well (in my case, the Raptors). Not sure if there’s a way to bypass that restriction with a VPN, admittedly.
