I liked Dante's too. You're not alone.PepsimanVsJoe said:Yeesh what a headache. All I want is to buy the freaking import games with my month of PS+.
Also I want to try the trials of St. Lucia in Dante's Inferno(hey whatever. I liked the game)

I don't know the timeline on that attack so I could be completely wrong in terms of which attack was first and or second ( PSN or SOE).
staticneuron said:Sony never gave "deadlines" they gave windows but has always put emphasis on security concerns being the mitigating factor (that means there has never been any deadlines).

Section 8 isn't out until "summer" so PSN coming back now won't let you play it.AwRy108 said:Man, I really want to play Outland and Section 8 - Prejudice, wish PSN would come back soon.

I can't understand why people want to play it over the internet anyway. Maybe once, but then after that what are you gonna do? Play the same puzzles over and over?Leon S. Kennedy said:Portal 2 local co-op is really good as well. Much better than over the internet.
Who says they want to play it over and over? I only want to play it once, and I can't.HeresSomeWeapons said:I can't understand why people want to play it over the internet anyway. Maybe once, but then after that what are you gonna do? Play the same puzzles over and over?

Why's that?DevelopmentArrested said:Looks like i'll be buying la noire for 360.
so a game in which there is zero multiplayer component, and the PSN outage has changed the system you buy it for???DevelopmentArrested said:Looks like i'll be buying la noire for 360.
What an embarrassment for sony.

but the DLC codes will be available eventually (end of the month?). On the 360, the exclusive PS3 case will never be available. Extremely short sighted, especially with an entire single player game to play before even looking the DLC cases.Wario64 said:DLC codes
Yup, all the preorder cases mean jackshit for day one players.Wario64 said:DLC codes
Not a concern for me because I plan to wait for the other DLC to get online and play them all together, give me a reason to come back, but that's certainly a legitimate reason, one of the few games people might actually want to buy on PS3 over the 360 too, sucks for Sony.Wario64 said:DLC codes

in general? definitely agreed. For this game? Almost zero impact whatsoever, with the downside of losing the exclusive case and gaining two extra discs. You notice I don't say the same thing about those talking about Brink, etc. There is a time and place for being fed up with this shit. just that a single player-only game with exclusive content on one system and eventual restoration of the pre-order DLC to me wouldn't seem to be that time or place.Wario64 said:I think people have had enough waiting.

Fuck you Jaffe, fuck you. ;__________; All I want is the mana outfit so I can at least speedrun the game and have platinum. ARGH.

I'd try and sell it privately for a fair value...trade in prices are a joke.Stink said:Anyone know what the UK trade-in value of a 120GB slim is these days? Game or Gamestation ideally.

I'd actually think spite is a better reason to change SKUs than a lack of day one DLC.watership said:So he is short sighted because he's fed up with Sony?

Sony plans to bring PlayStation Network matchmaking back online within the next couple of days, according to a trusted Eurogamer source.
When contacted for comment, SCE corporate communications director Patrick Seybold told Eurogamer, "We're working to get the network back on as soon as we can."
Meanwhile, a PlayStation Europe community manager has confirmed that Sony intends to get online gaming back up and running before other PSN services.
"Once again, 31st May is the date for FULL restoration of PSN services. Restoration is phased. Online gaming will return BEFORE May 31st," read a post on MusterBuster's Twitter feed earlier today.
Over the weekend, a Sony spokesperson warned that full PSN service might not return until 31st May.
It appears that Anonymous have trouble in their ranks not that they had ranks to begin with, in fact thats the problem. The following has been posted on a hacking site:
We regret to inform you today that our network has been compromised by a former IRC-operator and fellow helper named Ryan. He decided that he didnt like the leaderless command structure that AnonOps Network Admins use. So he organised a coup detat, with his friends at skidsr.us . Using the networks service bot Zalgo he scavenged the IPs and passwords of all the network servers (including the hub) and then systematically aimed denial of service attacks at them.
Sony was targeted by a DOS attack and now Anonymous own members have used the same tools to bring down their IRC network.
We are profoundly sorry for this drama, and we cant give you a an estimate on when service will resume normally, said Sony Anonymous.
