I'm looking to get into the PSP, but every "top 10" list I've come across all mention games that are available on other systems, and usually remastered on the PS3. Or, games that other systems have better versions or sequels to, or similar games that are better.

I'm looking for great PSP exclusive games that you can't get on any other system - including the Vita. So far I've got DragonBall Z: Shin Budokai and some Naruto games.

EDIT: Since there's some confusion, I'm talking about "UMD-only" games or digital games that were never brought over to the Vita, or any other platform. Such as "Crisis Core." Or, games that are superior on PSP even if they have other versions.

Ys Seven is one of the best PSP exclusives IMO. Excellent combat, a lengthy quest, stellar music. I even liked the story more than just about any other game in the series. It's an awesome action RPG.

You mean that Chinese release? I was hesitant to mention because I'd assume it wasn't released in the US. I'[m guessing it's a fanpatch thing because I've heard nothing on it's coming out on Steam or anything.

Star Ocean 1's not too bad, they went with the mechanics of #2. Not available on Vita.

Getting Nayuta no Kiseki fan patched may count I guess. It's not a proper one in that the version you'd get would be on PSN in Japan (and they're better about Vita access there, though I think everything Falcom DEVELOPED version on PSP hit PSN/Vita anyway outside of Japan) but to get it ripped and patched reasonably legit you'd need a PSP.

Phantasy Star: Portable 2 is fantastic. It used to be on PSN before being removed. No idea if it works on Vita, but if it does you can't buy it digitally anymore.
