Carbon Based Lifeforms have released remixes of Photosynthesis...and to me they're very disappointing. Half of them are genres that mean it barely even resembles the original at all, one is alright (the solar quest remix) but it adds a weird static-like clicking sound (no idea what that is...reminds me of the Aliens motion sensor in a way).
Even the live version of it they've released there has lost some of the impact compared to the Live version from Boom festival 2014, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZazYPz-PeE At about 1:26:45. The addition of more lines there makes it great and it feels noticeably different from the studio version, but the new released live remix just doesn't seem as good compared to that really. It's still great but not entirely what i hoped.

Not sure if anyone will know, but I'm listening to the two Thirteen Crystal Skulls albums on Google Play Music and for some reason the Astrix track on Secret is 39 minutes long...
I checked and it's also that long on Amazon and iTunes, but shorter on Beatport, so I have no idea what's happened.
An extra 30 minutes seems like a fairly substantial extended mix.
Also, these albums are so damn good. Sphongle - The Seventh Revelation just goes!

I don't know why I never heard of Shpongle before. I really love bands that mix electronic with live instruments. Been checking out their live sets on yt.

Saw they were touring in the U.S. (last?) year but they weren't coming to Atlanta. Well, I had to change that
The show was incredible. The breadth and quality of their library is also unmatched.
