Some are pointless nutrition facts scammery that are still metabolized and just give you gas as a bonus (maltitol...). Erythritol is legit, and becoming increasingly common especially when paired with stevia. Vitaminwater Zero, Quest Bar (natural line), etc. Wiki for specifics on the sugar alcohols.

Our Dear Leader dropping truthfacts. Erythritol is fine the others not so much.

hot damn just had the chocolate chip cookie dough

nuked it for 15 secs

it was seriously like a warm cookie

theyre smaller than i expected and dont seem very filling at first.. i assume u gotta let the protein kick in

i can already feel the farts coming on

I just finished my box of Chocolate Brownie bars. I'm now a big fan of 'em. Didn't like the texture all that much, but the rest was great, and that nutritional profile is hard to beat.

Just ordered another box of Coconut and Chocolate chip bars.

But isn't it good to get both protein and sugar in the morning, so you can have short term and long term energy?

Protein is the least efficient macro nutrient to be used as an energy source. The body prefers carbohydrates and fat before it will even try to use protein for energy.

Ya the new white chocolate raspberry is top tier.
My new rankings would be
1. white choc rasp
2. choc cookie dough
3. apple pie
4. cinna roll

Scored a box for 15 at GNC and 17 at Hi-Health. Dat coupon.

Anyone having luck still reusing the GNC coupon? I haven't tried in awhile.

Got a chance to try the new white chocolate raspberry flavor. It's good, but it's nutritionally the worst bar in the line (which isn't to say it's unhealthy, especially compared to some candy-fied protein bars out there).

Can you post a coupon kind sir? I'll try when I can.

Here's one:

I'm intrigued by Quest bars, but I try to keep myself from eating candy or anything resembling candy aside from my cheat days.

Obviously this isn't candy, but I'm afraid if I ate just one, I wouldn't be able to control myself. I'm better at abstaining than rationing.

A few of these in one sitting is fairly harmless compared to an equal amount of candy or desserts. That of course, varies depends on which particular Quest bars you're eating.

Got a few boxes weeks ago and love them! Only problem with using them and doing keto is that I need to eat a fat bomb along with the bar itself to counteract all that protein. Not a problem though and worth it!

For those who are frugal and want to make your own Quest Bars:

When I did Keto these are what kept me sane. Now I just eat them because it tastes great and helps me hit my fiber and protein macros.

Also new flavor is coming. Anyone hit it yet? Don't know if it's a GNC exclusive or not.

Got tired of the infamous Peanut Butter Supreme.

I finally tried their White Chocolate Raspberry. Don't know if I got a fresh order, but it was soft and fluffy! Did not have to microwave it for 8 seconds, was already soft!

It was very sweet indeed, tasted as advertised. Going to buy a box or two until I get tired of them.

Alright, I've been eating those Clif "Builder" bars, but curiosity has finally gotten the better of me. Just ordered a box each of Apple Pie and Choc. chip cookie dough. The protein to carb ratio is definitely better than the Builders, that's for sure.

I used to do the Mint Chocolate Chip Builder's Bar from Cliff. Tastes very good!

Unhealthy compared Quest Bars so I switched.

Is this viral marketing? I must admit I'd like to try one now.

People like

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Peanut Butter Supreme
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Cinnamon Roll
White Chocolate Raspberry.

Other flavors don't taste that well. Maybe get an assorted pack so you can try each flavor.

Not to bump this thread, but GNC is having 30% off site-wide today, and includes these bars.

http://www.gnc.com/home/index.jsp

Coupon code: healthy14

Don't forget 10% discover cashback if you have a discover card.

Might not be the best deal, but I am not going to complain having almost half off...

Most protein bars taste too sweet and chemical-y to me. I love these things though:

Ingredients: Malted corn and barley, nonfat milk, honey, wheat germ, raisins, walnuts, soy flour, soy oil, wheat bran, pecans, grape juice.

New Quest Bar flavor: Cookies & Cream - Preorders open now

My favorites so far are the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, White Chocolate Raspberry, and the Double Chocolate Chunk. Can't wait to try these.

GNC is supposed to get them in, and also Quest's website obviously.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but who is Community Forum? Just another user with an interesting user name/tag?

Tried these for the first time last week and its very easy to see why FitnessGAF loves them. I'm gonna wait til the next sale pops up and then stock up.
