this is an oversimplified response to oversimplified criticism of sexism and ignores that these are designed characters with no agency.
sarkeesian gets a lot of shit for simply pointing out obvious sexism and so much energy is spent dealing with the fallout of her videos that we never get to wade out into the deep end of the pool.
Real Talk Cammy's design is 10x shittier than Mika's. Mika's outfit is ugly and dated, but at least it's a clear recognizable reference to Japanese pro wrestlers.

Really? Because I played for like 10 hours during the stress test. Most people weren't having issues except for with lag. That's why they're starting the beta up again.

People argued this point when Cammy was revealed for SF5.. But at this point I think Capcom is too afraid to make drastic changes to their female characters.. If Mika was changed drastically you would have heard a lot of people complaining.

Because the design makes more aesthetic sense. Parts of the costume are connected to the other parts of the costume in a way that isn't random-looking. The separate pieces on the arms and legs seem to be concieved and executed as part of a unified whole.

I don't know why you're trying to drag this back to me possibly being upset that her asscheeks are hanging out when I specifically cited that aspect as being funny/playful in the way they're being used, as a means to accentuate her characterization. She's not just slapping her ass for the sake of giving sexually frustrated manchildren a semi while buttonmashing online. She's slapping her ass because she's a confident pro-wrestler who knows she can literally knock you unconscious with her buttcheeks. The silliness of that concept is made all the more fun with the knowledge that she can/will HURT YOU with her ass.
Why would you suggest that I'm harboring some puritanical streak, that it's the secret agenda I'm trying to stash behind my design complaints when I've outright stated it's not that her ass is hanging out, it's that her costume is poorly designed and ugly as shit.

The new comers in T6 all look like they're based off Fatal Fury characters actually.
I'm still at work so I can't confirm, that is why I said my understanding. I saw a few mentions on twitter that it was down again. Is it back up/did it ever go down?
It's not up yet. I think it goes back up this evening...not sure what time.
Stress tests all seemed to have gone very well, though.
We'll see if everything holds up tonight.

I had an excellent experience with the last stress test, especially the second day. I was getting matches every 30 seconds or so. Most with good connections.

I wish we were getting some of the other announced characters, but I'm sure that isn't the priority yet.

They've got at least three betas planned, so they have other opportunities to include additional characters in those. Which they likely will for the purposes of balancing them. They've already done fairly dramatic changes to the characters in the current demo build vs. the beta build.

Very off topic, but have Capcom ever mentioned how they are handling the PC and PS4 accounts. If I own both the PC and PS4 version are they cross accounts or would I need to unlock things on both accounts. I'm sure the answer is they are two different things, but I'd like to be hopeful.
