Great
Captain America: Civil War - Maybe it's a little early to put this at the top of my list, but it's so damn great. It's probably the best story in a Marvel movie, one that's more about the characters and how they interact and not about saving the world as we know it. It juggles a dozen superheroes flawlessly, giving each and every one of them time to shine. And the action is amazing. As far as I'm concerned, the airport battle is the new standard for big, bombastic superhero action scenes, and the final battle is the new standard for smaller scale fight scenes. Every superhero movie should aspire to live up to this masterpiece.
The Avengers - It was jawdropping to see all the heroes on screen together for the first time in this movie. It had everything I wanted from an Avengers movie. Every character kicked ass. Until Civil War, I wasn't sure if any movie could dethrone this one.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - A precursor to the greatness that is Civil War. The Russos showed that they really knew what the hell they were doing.
Iron Man 3 - I don't care what anyone says, this movie is hilarious and has some great action scenes.
Iron Man - The movie that jumpstarted the whole thing, and despite the disappointing third act, it still holds up.
Pretty Good
Thor - This movie gets a lot of hate, and I don't know why. It's a smaller scale, smaller stakes story. It's not about the end of the world like almost every other Marvel movie, it's about two flawed brothers trying to win the respect of their father. One of them learns from his flaws, gains humility, and grows from the experience, and the other doesn't learn a damn thing, and falls further into madness because of it. It's not as action-heavy as most Marvel movies, though the battle between Thor and his friends and the frost giants was pretty great.
Ant-Man - A surprise hit that made a character as silly as Ant-Man likable to general audiences. It's a fun movie that never really takes itself too seriously.
Captain America: The First Avenger - Entertaining enough, and the WW2 setting is different enough to keep it interesting.
Guardians of the Galaxy - This one's tough. The first time I saw it, it would've place much higher. But on subsequent viewings, I don't feel like it holds up all that well. The jokes lose their punch and actually become a little bit lame once you know them, and the action isn't very good. Still, the likable cast keeps this one in the Pretty Good category.
Disappointing
Avengers: Age of Ultron - Bloated, I think, is the word that best describes this movie. It didn't juggle its characters very well, Ultron was a pretty bad villain, and the action just wasn't as good as the first Avengers for some reason. I mean, the movie starts up with what should be an epic battle between the Avengers and Hydra, and it should have me screaming, "Hell yeah!" but it just didn't have much of an impact at all. The same goes for the Hulkbuster fight, and the Sokovia fight.
Iron Man 2 - Another disappointing sequel. Whiplash and his drones were lame villains, Tony getting sick from the arc reactor in his chest was a poor attempt at tackling Tony's alcoholism without actually bringing up alcoholism, and there was far too much SHIELD stuff and just generally setting up for future movies.
Thor: The Dark World - What's the deal with Marvel and stumbling on sequels? I mean Winter Soldier was great, but that's the exception. These past three movies make me a little bit worried about Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Ant-Man 2. Anyway, about the movie itself. Its biggest flaw is that it just doesn't seem to know exactly what it wanted to be. It's just... there. It doesn't push the overarching MCU story forward in any meaningful way, nor does it contain an interesting plot in and of itself. There's not really any growth or change in any of the characters (outside of Thor's mom changing from living to not living). I can't even remember what the villain's plan was. The action was serviceable, but not exceptional. Just, overall, there's not much reason for this movie to exist.
The Incredible Hulk - I don't even remember much about this one. I just remember seeing it and not really caring for it.
Overall, I wouldn't say any of them are bad, just disappointing at worst.
