The things I liked about the conference had very little to do with Microsoft (MGSV, mostly). Also liked the look of that cartoon-y looking game, but I can live without it.
Twitch stuff was a waste of time and incredibly awkward.
Price is way too high for what they're offering.
No Kinect demos, but mandatory Kinect in the box. I guess now they don't have to sell you an extra one, they don't care as much.
The indie section was bullshit from start to finish.
Several presenters (especially the Forza & Battlefield 4 guys) were spouting off A-Grade level bullshit about the Cloud and other buzzwords.
As a 'last surprise' Titan Fall fell way short. It looked like a slightly spruced up 360 game (which is what it is, I guess).
Ryse looked pretty but seems to play like absolute dogshit. Crytec is now a gimmick studio for the on-going use of 'y' in their game titles.
Killer Instinct looked rough and played on wording to the max in their pre-conference talk (Yes, technically, they brought back a classic Rare franchise, just with a different studio with a terrible reputation). Meanwhile, Kinect Sports was announced before the conference and looked increasingly to be a clone of Wii Sports (dat Island setting).
I can't decide whether Quantum Break is a bad TV show or a bad game?
While I think Project Spark may end up being a little bit like Fable (over-promising and under-delivering), it didn't even look that exciting.
Halo reveal was cool, I'll admit, but didn't make sense (why was he wearing a cloak over armor other than to hide what game it was until the last second)?
I think there were maybe 4 games which didn't include guns. I don't mind guns/shooters, but there's a certain point where I feel there's too much.
Overall, the whole thing just seemed very pedestrian for what was essentially the console's big games reveal.
