For me, a 4/10, for people who like MS like an 8/10. They appealed to their group with all the shooters. For me the highlights were stuff like Below, and Crimson Dragon. Exclusives didn't impress me honestly, and then $499.

$499 is only laughable if Sony make MS pay. If Sony had planned to do a similar price or god forbid even more expensive then it's not crazy. 4/10.

8/10

Titanfall looks awesome.
Killer Instinct.
Ryse actually looks next gen.

Where is Crackdown?
Where is Perfect Dark?
500? A joke.

I voted 4/5. I thought it was a great conference, atleast compared to most E3 conferences going back as far as I can remember...

A lot of the games looked very cool and interesting, and the only thing that disappointed me was the Master Chief reveal under that cloak. ;(

My personal opinion was Metal Gear stole the show. It was the only game that looked next-gen in terms of graphics. Some of the others looked good but honestly nothing special. I was hoping we'd be surprised by Doom 4 :(

It was without question a great conference. I wouldn't put it among the best ever, but it was game after game after game. They really focused on the right things. The Twitch TV thing was pretty impressive as well.

I feel they generally delivered.

Good pacing, lots of games, a variety of exclusives across a large amount of genres, and they didn't focus much on stuff that didn't relate to games.

I feel they could have had a bit more gameplay from some of their first party titles that otherwise had awkward or cutscene only debuts. The price also wasn't great.

Gave it a 4/5.

solid 7.5/10 - 8/10

Could have been better, but when the show is games, games, games, games, games, games, games, etc you can't really go wrong. Also some of the new live features sound nice (taking a few hints from PS plus, good!). They could have touched more on the controversies, but I understand that they want to keep the atmosphere positive and exciting. Hopefully this stuff gets addressed in a few days.

True to their word, wall to wall games. However, most are multiplatform (I think? MS did a pretty good job of confusing me here) and little substance was shown, between the brevity of the presentations (a product of wall to wall games, to be fair) and the nature of some of the teasers- I don't give a crap if Quantum Break is in game; either that's not gameplay and I don't care or it is gameplay, which is even worse because it was nothing but an interactive cutscene. How is anyone formulating an opinion on Insomniac's game? It was just a teaser and I get the sense that people are impressed by the color scheme, as irrelevant as that is in the grand scheme of things. I hope Ryse was just a cinematic slice meant to work in a short clip format because if that is the meat of the game, it's terrible. (and I say that as someone who thinks GoW is decent- mostly because it has great pacing, excellent puzzle designs, and intriguing boss battles. Doesn't help that Ryse's QTEs were far more prevalent than GoW, which actually has a combat system outside of them.)

To make matters worse, there were few games there that personally appealed to me, but I get that MS is addressing everyone and not some specific taste. No comments on all the controversy which leaves them in the same crappy state in my eyes, but that doesn't really impact my opinion of the conference specifically. $500 seems way too high with the almost service like approach they're taking with their drm and other policies. Expected lower than usual, if anything.

Still, wall to wall games. Intrigued by MGSV and TitanFall, but hope to play on a different platform. Halo alone cannot sell me this system. 3/5

They did what they said! Focus on Games. Sometimes i felt they were playing catchup to Sony. ANd those sound issues were a big nono.

All in all Quantum Break, Project Spark and Titanfall were the only amazeball games.

Ryse turned out to be QTE fest. Need more info.

Price is ok i guess. But those DRM issues are still lingering.

Oh and I was happy that ME2 was not shown.

B- Microsoft delived the games. Techincal issues during the conference and high price tag scarred it however.

Nothing really exclusive really interested me aside from Killer Instinct and Dead Rising 3 and even that seemed to be moving far away from its Japanese roots: nothing to justify the $499 price point and DRM anyway.

The ball's in Sony's court now but a $499 price point there would make me think twice as well considering no BC and my massive backlog of PS3 games.

4.99/10

3.5/5

Post Microsoft E3 Press reactions

Pros:
- Lots of games! It felt like I was hit by a rapid fire of games at one point!
- I am most interested in MGS5, Titanfall, The Witcher 3, Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive, Spark, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Ryse and BF4.
- Releasing in November!
- Xbox Gold offering free games now!

Cons:
- Most of the games I want are coming to the PC or other consoles so it's not really a system seller for me.
- $499......I can stomach the price but I am pissed off that it's that high because of the Kinect 2. I won't use that crap....ever.
- Nothing on how the cloud will make the Xbox One 40x better.
- Nothing on the benefits of an online system as a consumer.
- F2P games hidden behind a Xbox Live Gold paywall LOL.

Other thoughts
At this point if Sony comes out and says "You can play used games on PS4" and they don't have the "Always online" then I will buy a PS4.

If they both follow the same garbage DRM shit then it comes down to exclusive games or .......the Wii U :( .

6/10

Lots of games, that's good

"Here's another FPS!", that's bad

No 45 minute Kinect demo, that's good

$499 + DRM? *groan*

Please let Sony get this right. If DRM and always online/cloud is the future, I'm about to go retro only.

5/10

The few games that looked good to me were multiplatform like MGS5(AMAZING!) and Dark Souls 2. Pretty much all the exclusives they showed looked boring to me. Price also sucks. Not buying this thing.

6/10

I wasn't bowled by any of the exclusives. Titanfall was the only exclusive that stood out. Smartglass looks like a useless gimmick. The good thing was there was hardly any talk of Kinect.

It was between above average and good. Not great by any means. Glad they kept their promise to only talk about games.

I'm only really looking forward to Panzer Dragoon. Noe enough for me to buy the console.

It was good, but not much more. Quantum Break, Titanfall, and a few others looked great. For $500 and their shitty DRM policies? No thanks.

8/10

Dead Rising, Titanfall, Forza looked good

But seriously, aside from Forza/Titanfall, most of these games looked like they could've been on a 360 and you wouldn't have noticed.

And the number of times they said "powered by the cloud"...

Great conference. Showed a lot of new games and plenty seemed quite interesting. Phil Spencer wore a State of Decay shirt. Didn't expect a price announcement, so that's good. Price is bad, which is good.

Unfortunately most of the games shown are apparently Xbox One exclusive, so I won't be playing them.

GAF is croaking.

Titanfall and Witcher 3 looked awesome, MGS5 looked alright. Apart from that most of the games looked dull, especially Ryse.

I voted 4/5. Great game showing, probably the best MS has ever held in that regard. However the price killed it, that's just too much.

2.5 to 3 out of 5.

I'm still not sold on the machine, especially over the PS4. Other than Halo, all the games I'm really excited for I can get on other platforms.

Also, 500 dollars is way too high for a system that is significantly less powerful than the PS4. Will wait for a price drop.

Titanfall looks fucking amazing.

8.5

I won't be buying an Xbox One any time soon, if ever, but it was a damn great press conference. They didn't lie. It was pretty much all games. Titanfall looks like a great catch. Looking forward to playing that on my PC. ;)
€499 shocked me though. At the live subscription and a game and we're talking incredibly expensive.

Gave it a 3/5. They delivered on the Games Games Games thing. Didnt waste time on bullshit like Kinect and Live chats.

BUT didnt even touch on the DRM thing mush less talked about their online strategy. Also, that fucking price. Ouch.

Better than what I expected though.

5/10.

I found it just really mediocre. It wasn't as terrible as it could have been, but it utterly failed to excite me at all.

Also dat price.

Showmanship wise, it's the best conference they've had in years. I still dont want one. But if I had to grade them on content, they did very well. Nothing but games.

Thankfully they only showed 1 Exclusive that got to me (Dead Rising 3). So I'm not TOO upset. Hoping for a PC version at least.
