Unless the 360 and PS3 versions have their own exclusive content, I don't see a reason why you would choose them over the Wii U version if you're already planning on getting a Wii U (or if you find the NFC and touch-screen stuff that exciting that you are buying a Wii U for this)...

Me neither. That opens up some pretty scary possibilities IMO, because I'm sure Ubisoft isn't above trying to sell you a bunch of physical crap with each game.

Nintendo has hit the freaking jackpot - what kid hasn't dreamed of bringing their toys into their video games?

Now all they have to do is make a Nintendo legends - a Mario RPG/Subspace Emissary type game. Comes with 16 characters or so by default. DLC or buy toy for extra characters. Dive in a pile of money like Scrooge McDuck.

Says exclusive content so this definitely is planned for 360/PS3/PC, but it's a good sign that one the game isn't Rayman 2 and two that it has some extra content for the Wii U.

Now just announce Red Steel 3 so we can have flashbacks of pre-Wii launch.
 
I think what makes me particularly happy about this is just how nice it will feel to finally play an HD game on a Nintendo system. New Super Mario Bros or some other sort of 2D game on the Wii U is going to be stunning..

The level of detail on those backgrounds is just incredible. Ubisoft have some insanely talented artists.
 
Loved the end with the "devious" gamer. So the WiiU controller has some sort of scanning device built in. Huh. Could be interesting.
 
looked like a demo trailer.....fact it had outside music and I think that was a dev controller considering the fact they didn't show off the wireless.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. That feature could be exploited heavily by many companies.

Nintendo is definitely smart to include it as it opens up whole new avenues for them to make money and they definitely won't be alone in that.

They won't be announcing RS3. They have six Wii U games in development, and we know all of them

it's either going to be horribly exploited or barely used. there will be no middle ground. :(
 
The game looks absolutely awesome, but for me personally, I see absolutely no use for a tablet controller with this game. I find the 'tag' thing really gimmicky and not something I'd use more than once/twice.

Hopefully the Wii-U version of Rayman Legends comes with Rayman Origins on the same disc (25gig discs for the win!).
 
New rendering engine looks incredible. Please don't forget to make the UbiArt Framework open source like you promised, Ubisoft...

The video is pretty great; could be one of my first titles.
 
I held off on getting Rayman Origins but this must be the Rayman Origins 2 rumored. The trailer made it look to be multiplatform.

I have to admit i'm kinda excited about the Wii-U and I haven't been excited for a Nintendo home console in a long time. I just like the direction they are going with the WiiU much, much more then they went with Wii. I think theres lots of real gameplay possibilities with that controller/ipad integration. And i'm still very happy and satisfied with PS3/Xbox360 levels of graphics and still think theres more that can be squeezed out of it. That game right there still looks gorgeous to me.

I think I would be pretty satisfied getting a Wii-U this year and holding off on the PS4/Xbox720 till late late into next gen after several price drops.
 
I just hope it's a good game and that being a launch title helps boost sales compared to Origins, causing more companies being willing to create such content instead of leaving it up to Nintendo and a handful of indies (or borderline so) to keep the genre alive.
