I bought a Play once. It had so many typos and misspellings that I've never gone back.

Edge and EGM (I know) FTW. Game Informer is pretty good too.

That used to be the case... it's a lot better now. Nothing brings me more joy than opening my filthy mailbox to discover a new Play magazine... I'm giddy thinking about it

I love the covers every month. The layout is so clean. Love it.

Play, Edge, and GI are the only ones I can stomach.

PLAY has pretty pictures and some of their interviews and features are good. Don't trust Halverson or the reviews though.
