I've only listened to the Monster Hunter 4, Soul Sacrifice, and Ace Attorney parts because I'm most interested in those games. I've got to say that your coverage of SS was great, I feel like I understand the game a lot better now. I'm still not entirely sure if it's for me but it seems like it has potential. Also the Ace Attorney part instilled me with confidence that the game is going to be good, given that some people on this forum expressed concerns about the developer (AAI team, which I liked a lot btw).

As a MH fan I was a bit surprised that someone mentioned that it felt** more like an expansion than a new game, totally opposite to how I personally understood the 8-4 guys' impressions (yeah I know they were already fans of the series).

EDIT **: It seems I misunderstood that part, it looked like an expansion which I could totally understand
 
I don't think he said felt like, just looked like as in visually.

Also enjoyed the soul sac talk sounded like it made an impression
 
Fantastic episode, you guys are truly the "only" podcast about Japanese gaming, 30 minutes of Soul Sacrifice, +20 minutes of Ace Atorney 5, all the translation on the fly.... you guys deserve more prise and attention.

I don't know, maybe a segment about Japan daily life, or anecdotes about working with japanese developers, RE6 review.... anything but a recap of the 49 previous episodes :p

Great show as always, guys. Very enjoyable.
Made me feel totally okay about just selling my Vita. I'm still kinda interested in SS, but aside from that there's just nothing to look forward to.

And Capcom guy shit talking SS is pretty funny. Where's your decency and politeness, Japan?

/edit/ Also, did Cheesemeister and Martin even like any game at TGS? They seem to be at least somewhat down on everything. lol
 
I like the idea of live calls. You should try to get Torgo from PSNation to call in, for those of us who followed Martin's podcasting appearances before RSG.

How about a godzilla wife joke, for old times sake :P

I really enjoyed the show lots of games to see and play just not enough time to do so.
I spent the 90% of my time at TGS filming so I didn't feel too hyped about some of the titles as other members of the podcast.

Yes and I was totally disappointed with the lack of racing games at TGS, I think Need for Speed on the Sega booth was the only racing title at the show and I didn't even get a chance to play that. :'(

Halfway through #49 and it's as great as ever but I'm especially loving the return of Mehdi. The enthusiasm, especially regarding anything MGS related is so infectious!
 
Cheese's MH4 rendition is great.

Soul Sacrifice isn't winning it on the details at all from what I'm hearing here.

And damn at those shots fired at Nagoshii!

Felt like there were less new game announcements than past TGS. From what I have seen, most of the games shown there have already been announced long before TGS.
Just alot of what had already been announced and little to no surprises at the event left me kind of disappointed. :/


Anyway, can't wait to hear the opinions that you guys have to chime in for RE6.
 
Question for #50 - would like to hear a personal take on how people think the gaming scene here in Japan has changed over the years - where is it headed? etc
