Remedy Registers Trademark for "Alan Wake's Return"

After seeing this I also discovered that http://alanwakereturns.com/ was registered last year via the same proxy as other Remedy domains. (although you don't see Remedy itself in the whois)

edit: it's worth noting that the trademark was registered via FastTrack so someone was in a hurry?!

edit2: At end of the second DLC of AW1, Alan writes on a Book named "Return" - sort of a cliffhanger.

Seriously though this would be pretty cool since the DLC/standalone thing ended on a cliffhanger and it was just a great game in general.

I don't know why they registered that though. If they are doing an "Alan Wake 2", they don't need to register that. "Alan Wake's return" as a trademark sounds like something else than a game? Maybe something that leads to an announcement of the second installment though.

Maybe it will have to do with something with quantum break's alan wake things?
