lol, IGN reviewer doesn't know what the term "cult classic" means.
If it's a 'cult classic' one day, why does it not have such a value today?
I'm going to assume that IGN believes that gaming is going straight into the shitter; the game may not be good right now but we'll be extremely grateful for it after all the garbage that is about to come out.Cult classic one day but forgettable today.
Maybe Capcpom didn't include them in the budget for this game..
I just want to know if it is filled with bugs. I don't trust reviewers to sell the fun factor on a game like this. I don't mind trying out experimental mechanics but I would mind a product with unresponsive gameplay and the inability to progress through stages.

When youre not fighting, youre climbing up drain pipes, across window ledges, and between rooftops but none of this traversal is remotely exciting. Theres no suspense. Nothing breaks, nothing gives way, and Nilin makes every jump. Even if youve slightly misjudged the distance, dont worry: youll be pulled, almost magnetically, towards your destination
What nuance there is to combat comes from entering the Combo Lab, a place where you can freely customise your attacks with effects that inflict damage, regenerate health, or cool down one of your more powerful attacks. If, say, youre extremely low on health, its useful to jump into the Combo Lab and quickly construct an attack entirely composed of "Regen Pressens" to restore part of your health with every attack. This system does make the relentless combat situations a tad more interesting, as you actually have to tinker with your combos when facing particular types enemies early on. But once I unlocked enough Pressens to dedicate a combo to each perk, I pretty much forgot about visiting the Combo Lab ever again.
I've had one weird bug in about six hours. Nilin's head got stuck constantly facing the same direction in a cutscene which caused her neck to contort in weird, uncomfortable, and sort of hilarious ways. Funny and a temporarily ruined the atmosphere, but I wouldn't consider it damaging.I just want to know if it is filled with bugs. I don't trust reviewers to sell the fun factor on a game like this. Did IGN edit the review already? That cult classic quote is nowhere to be found.

Wasn't reviewed by Mitch.Mitch Dyer, the reviewer for IGN, is pretty infamous for having his reviews being on the low end of the spectrum. He gave the last Ninja Gaiden a 3 or something ridiculous. I don't trust his opinion on anything.

That all being said ill probably pick this up on a summer Steam sale.

I read it, not the greatest piece but I can see where the score comes from. It still doesn't excuse them for writing something sloppy though. Why do I get the feeling most people aren't even reading the IGN review?
