The pledge was Reince Priebus' idea, Cruz had nothing to do with it except signing it as a condition to get into the debates. He certainly wasn't on friendly terms with the RNC at any point himself.PS that look on Cruz's face is the look you get when you constantly hammer an opponent on "taking an oath to support the eventual nominee, look, WE all signed it!" and then when he wins you realize you've signed your own political death warrant.
I think Cruz did a pretty good job of addressing the pledge.PS that look on Cruz's face is the look you get when you constantly hammer an opponent on "taking an oath to support the eventual nominee, look, WE all signed it!" and then when he wins you realize you've signed your own political death warrant.
Yeah I don't know how anyone can respect him lolIsn't Cruz the one who started that whole mess with the picture of Melania?
the storm being the election? you telling me they'd rather have hillary in office than him?Half of registered GOPers voted against him.
I think most are just hunkering down and waiting for the storm to pass.
He did the right thing. Republicans dont believe in doing the right thing. Sounds about right.
I thought Ted Cruz was the worst kind of republican, but I support him standing up for himself, I also now know there are far worse kinds of republicans.
It was a smart play by Cruz. When Trump gets trounced in the GE he will be one of the few that can say he distanced himself from it. Trump is going to take Christie and co. down with him. In 4 years those same Trump supporters will change their tune when Cruz is nominated for President.
That was Trump's lie. Just goes to show how well Trump's lies work when so many people even on GAF are fooled.Isn't Cruz the one who started that whole mess with the picture of Melania?
doesnt Texas have a sore lose rule?I hope Cruz gets primaried and runs as an independent. Let's have a TX Dem senator pls
Man... remember when we were sure Republicans would never fall in line behind Trump?
