Framerate on PS5 with RT on falls in the 50-60fps range, but mostly in the 55-60fps range, which is much better than a 45fps lock lol.
None RT mode seems to be pretty close to a locked 60fps.
Not sure about the PS4 version though, 50-60fps range, and mostly around the 50-55fps range when playing.
And dat framerate on the Pro 4k mode lol.
Cant really tell what RT is adding to be honest. Outside scenes look slightly brighter with RT on, and indoor scenes look identicle. Not sure its wirth the lost frames.
Standard. What difficulty did you play on? On standard I ran into 4 werewolves and they most def did not run away but were chasing me around until I gunned them all down.
Yea same. Also the trailer at the end runs the timer down and its unskippable nPlayed the demo last night. I had two accounts, so I played for about an hour.
I liked it, but I don't think it was segment for a demo, especially a timed one since it was full of cutscenes that run the timer down. I was expecting more gameplay, but 2/3 of the demo was cutscenes (that are thankfully skippable). I'm not disappointed, but I wasn't overly impressed.
I was on hardcore. They popped out when I got to the gate to Luiza's house. I nailed one of them with a couple pistol rounds to the head and they both ran off. I didnt go to the shack so maybe that's why I never saw the rest. What difficulty did you play on? The shotgun is in the small cabin to your left before entering the farm
PS5 is too weak to run RE8 @ 60fps
Why are PlayStation fans the only ones who keep bringing up this shit? It was shit then. It's shit now. Forget it and stop fucking talking about dumbasses. Let them be forgottenAnd remember it was 1080p@60 fps.
I downloaded it on PS5. I also fired up RE7 after. The graphics don't look much better in RE8. The shooting is shitty. I really like the atmosphere and environment though. Overall with my gripes I am still looking forward to playing the game.

I watched Maximilian’s stream and he turned both of those off. It made the whole thing way better for him.Apparently there's a setting to disable the acceleration in the aiming and movement. I didn't turn it off, but I guess that's why the aiming felt off.

The game doesn't look any better than RE7, only in higher resolution. The grass and some textures look straight out of PS2 era. RE8 doesn't push next gen consoles in any way of what they're truly capable of. RE5 back in the day set the visual bar high after RE4, it looked like a next gen leap. Capcom is doing a bare minimum with RE8 across all systems, and Sony's marketing team selling it like candy in the premium wrap. The shotgun is in the small cabin to your left before entering the farm

Be a petty little bitch thenYou know who here was talking a lot of shit back then believing a rumor that didn’t make sense for obvious reasons. Now they want everyone to forget about the whole thing? Naaah

I don't mind. Just commenting.Oh I will, even more now that I know that it triggers you.
What did you think of RE7?Boring gameplay, lifeless atmosphere, worst re i played so far.
I will play the full game to score appropriately, but that was my first impressions...
I love RE series, i even love RE6, but man...Re8 deserve more than a clone of 10$ horror steam games (some of those are even more scary and fun than this)
I mean, I'd wait until the game releases to say something like that, yeah? I don't even know how I feel about Returnal, but I think it wouldn't be fair to say such a thing, lmao.100x times better than Returnal.
Looks like shit. I'm not buying anything until Ratchet. Im done supporting these generic ass developers with no vision and shit ass "next gen" graphics. Step your game up. TLOU 2 should inspire you fuckers.
Awesome atmosphere, scary and innovative when released. I liked a lot! What did you think of RE7?
Cons - Writing is bad. Won’t get into specifics but portions of the dialogue are quite bad. Not even “tv pilot that never aired” bad, but “embarrassing writing only possible in video game” bad.
Ok. I know some fans were divided on it. I personally loved it, best RE game since 5 (obviously RE4 was better than 5).Awesome atmosphere, scary and innovative when released. I liked a lot!
Oh, I know bad video game writing, trust me. It just stands out in AAA games with huge budgets who typically have the money to hire good writers (nowadays, I'm referring to). But videogames have notoriously shitty writing and voice acting as a rule, I realize. You obviously weren't around for the "Master of unlocking" masterpiece that was RE1 on the PSX.
4k CBR on ps5 without RT in a game which runs at the same 4CBR on pro at 30 FPS? No thanksCapcom should license out the RE Engine.
Yeah. The acting isn't bad (not saying it's top-tier) but then you feel yourself getting immersed and then suddenly a character says something REALLY fucking awkward, like you moment you mentioned or when that drunk guy in the cabin goes on his rant, and you snap out of the moment and go "Oh, I'm playing a silly fucking videogame with bad writing".That part where the girl shoots her dad and afterwards was really awkward acting.
From an immersion level or cinematic standpoint it feels real low budget to me. Maybe the covid card can be pulled here, dunno. Just feels super derivative or dated with the cramped cooridor levels, hunting for random objects to unlock doors.
Agreed. I thought this game would have better shooting and gun mechanics. But its just re7.5 really withbullet sponge enemiesCapcom needs to upgrade these shit tier gun controls if they're going to be giving us these annoying ass enemies
Aiming felt a bit off, it was difficult to aim with the enemies moving quickly and not being zombies.
It will probably take a bit of time to get used to and some tweaking with the aiming speed settings, there simply wasn't time to do that in the demo.
