Hmm, hopefully it's not a common thing and just a one-off crash.
I think I've had the PS4 version crash on me once, but it's been good since.

Its not really a football game tbh, yes there is a ball and you hit it towards a goal but its different to that, its good I think if you enjoy MP games you will enjoy it

It's kind of hard to say. It's very much a competitive sport, and it's exhilarating as all hell.
There's a really interesting feeling you have while playing. You feel like you are in total control, even when in a car chasing a bouncing ball.
I enjoy the PES games and find RL much more fun than any soccer game I've played for an extended period.
Well as long as there's no offside rule I'll probably cope
You can drive up walls and on the ceiling if you want
For a sport game, there no heavy rules holding you back.You can also explode people.

Its intended to be a competitive sport game but its not got any football rules in it so you will be fine with offsides

Yeah because of licensing they weren't allowed to customize the DeLorean.
Rocket League was my game of the year in 2015. I played it more than any game that year. Still play it daily.
It's been a while since there was a game so refreshing that I just play it to have fun. Don't care about my rank and don't always have to play with friends. The game is just incredibly fun.
Please pick it up guys.

IIt really isn't about football, I don't like it either but I love Rocket League.
Your post made me think how cool it would be if the devs made a rocket league spin-off focus on racing. It could be like good old re-volt but with rocket gameplay.

That's surprising. I've played about 15 3v3 and had 0 frame rate issues. You set to quick start? Give yourself a hard reset. Never know.

It's been refined and even while in alpha already felt almost immediately better than SARPBC (the first game). Thanks to the feedback in alpha/beta you pretty much get what the devs iterated upon feedback of many of us who put in hundreds of hours on a single map in even an early state.
It will have legs similar to or even longer than PvZ GW.

It's also deceptively deep though. If you ever to try to brave the higher levels of rank you'll find the game is completely different at higher level with amazing ball and car control. Here's some of the best teams going at it.

Just had the second hard lock that kicked me out to main screen during a ranked match...
It does seem like this is 900p (I have the PS4 version too). Dont really know for sure though.
Anyway, having a lot of fun. People are too focused on touching the ball rather than having their team score points -- understandable though since most players are new.
Game plays very well. Definitely better with the Xbox One controller/triggers in my opinion.

Did you bring your Xbox out of Instant On to play it? I've had a few issues with that on Xbox One recently, not sure if they've borked something or not
I've thought this for a while. Driving in Rocket League is a lot more fun than a lot of racing games. I would love a racing game with ramps and stuff.IIt really isn't about football, I don't like it either but I love Rocket League.

Nope, I can try that. Also both locks happened during splitscreen so maybe that's the issue since no one else seems to be reporting anything yet

It's amaze balls so far! I'm hooked and I haven't even been able to play with my friends yet.
Psyonix have been good on patches and updates on the other platforms. If it's anything that's performance or server-side then I'm sure they are on it.

Just got done playing doubles rank. Just as fun as it was on ps4 for me. 30k online with it launching early.
