are you sure it's sold out midnight? http://www.cinemark.com/theater_showtimes.asp?theater_id=231&show_date=7/17/2008

or does it just list the timings and it says sold out when you actually buy them

i went to tinseltown when it first opened to watch jingle all the way. the light bulb went out in the projector during the scene where arnold was fighting the corrupt santa clauses :lol. there were riots in the theater.
Man, all 4 theaters now have seats! What the hell! I'm not complaining, this is great. And the Allen now has 3 midnight showings. :lol

Kansas and Salt Lake are the only ones not sold out......I guess their beliefs don't allow them to like Batman

Kansas just sold out

Kansas is back

wait what? i saved the image but forgot the url..

surely a print of the image should be fine.

As long as your name and the code are on the ticket, and the name matches the government issued ID, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Edit:

When you print the ticket, was it black and white?

Nope, same colors as the image.

Im thinking about getting some Indy tickets just in case they open up, I think the drive is worth it from Chicago.

edit: And why don't the mormons want to see batman?

Fuck you Salt Lake City.

+Kansas Just added more Tickets
Edit: and theyre gone already, that was litterally like 30seconds :lol

Sanjuro, what number ticket are you for Boston? I got 68/176. I'm just trying to figure out how they're managing to put up additional tickets, since there are only 276 seats in that theatre (I did a search). 138 tickets x 2 seats each = 268 seats (with a few to spare, which is the norm, I think). Maybe they're putting up 50 at a time or something?

134/138.

So do you guys think they're offering more tickets than seats? I've heard of pre-screenings being a 'first-come first-serve' affair with no guarantee of seating... I'd hate to drag my roommate down to the IMAX and get turned away.

I'm thinking of coming about 2 hrs early.

I don't think so. I've been to first-come, first-served screenings before and they specifically mention that's the case. This looks like admission is guaranteed. I still plan on getting there a bit early, though, of course.

What does the email state? Oh god i need answers!

I haven't gotten a single email for my tickets, nor did it say that I would receive one.

Are they even sending out emails? and why would they?

Fucking Christ. I was watching Tropic Thunder and enjoying myself and come home to San Diego Imax sold out. What's going on? I see people talking about things opening back up?! Garrrrg! After jumping through hoops for all that viral marketing shit and I missed out on my prize?!

On top of that i got an e-mail telling my to go to the site only to be humiliated.

make one. I went to the one for 300, just add them to your top friends and print your page out.
Those seats aren't guaranteed. I'll wait the extra night than go to a theater well out of way though traffic to be denied.

It's after you sign up, or if you've been participating already, It also sends you the same message, I think. I haven't gotten anything either.

It's something like this

"From: humanresources
to: you

Ha Ha HAHHA HAHAH AHA....." etc, etc.

Nothing important.

I don't like the sound of that "ha hah haha" Warner Bros are not gonna make fools out of us, are they? *cries*
