This and TimeSplitters 2 on PS4 and I'd be a happy man. I never got to play this but always wanted to.

Because otherwise Freedom Fighters HD on Ps4 isn't happening. I love the game obviously, and it reviewed pretty damn well, but it's a forgotten game from 2003. Pretty deep cut.

Bumping this one to say I was really hoping Homefront would scratch my Freedom Fighters itch just a little, but apparently it's garbage. Bummer.

It wasn't ever going to be like Freedom Fighters even if it was good, aside from the whole Red Dawn style story. But still.

When Ubi first revealed The Division at E3, during the trailer I thought it was a Freedom Fighters reboot (forgetting it was an EA game).

I've wanted a sequel to this game since the moment I beat the original!!!

The multiplayer wasn't half bad either, I REALLY want a sequel to this game - the squad mechanics were so unique and fun.

Xbox version is the best one beside PC. It even supports 720p resolution. Crazy for a game from 2003.

Excellent game, one of my favourites. Jesper Kyd absolutely nailed it with the soundtrack, Battle for Freedom and March of the Empire are godlike.

Nice to see this bumped again. I find it weird how IO was talking about Freedom Fighters leading up to Absolution's release and then stopped. I really hope after Hitman's content is done they don't just work on a Blood Money remaster. FF2 would do so well if it was done properly, and also if they convinced Jesper Kyd to come back for once. His pieces are so haunting and inspiring at the same time.

I loved the sewer base and missions. Ideally I'd love to see other Soviet-controlled countries like Britain in another game. Maybe we could go to the mid-east and west coast of America as well, recruit soldiers, and build up resistance, etc. So much potential.

On a side note: I think FF should be in the top-5 of games with the best soundtracks ever.

I must have missed this when it was announced in September, but apparently IO finally re-released the game on PC, albeit with no enhancements. https://www.ioi.dk/freedom-fighters/

It's not significant news by any stretch, but it's better than nothing. Hope they take a break from Hitman and make a new Freedom Fighters game.
