There aren't enough free ROMs that can stop me buying a Vita if Nintendo come out with a hardware revision and expect some dodgy attachment to be a suitable solution for current 3DS owners.

Here here, if this is true which tbh I'm still doubting then the orignal 3DS (which I own) was a complete disaster and shouldn't of even came out, they should of just waited, it's not they was under pressure to release a new system.

Might not be a huge deal. The dongle will definitely be part of a future hardware revision, but it wouldn't be a total mess if they just bundled it with a few high-profile releases before then and kept it available in stores throughout the life of the 3DS.

And the N64 games which used the C-buttons as a second analog stick were... 4? 5? In the end the second analog stick on the DualShock1 was used in how many games?

But now they know how to use it. This would mean COD ports from Vita and every kid would want this peripheral... it's like putting the WM+ on the market 6 months later the Wii release.
