If they uncensor the gore, I'll buy. Chances are, the first game will get the same treatment the 2nd one did
It literally killed my enjoyment of the game. Sniping had zero impact at all :/
Yeah i didn't like how they censored the gore/enemy reactions in 2 and Pre Sequel purely because they were too lazy to create more than 1 version of the games. 1 is still my favourite of the lot.
I have held off playing the pre sequel in anticipation of it releasing on X1/PS4, so this is a good thing for me.
I actually prefer the first game's writing by a huge margin. 2's just isn't that funny to me and I found it to be full of dreadful dialogue and humour. Much prefer the first game.
My post wasn't that long, I acknowledged that in the first few words.
It was on off-hand comment made mostly jokingly contrasting the rational side of me that understands the financial reasons for doing this and the less rational side that really wants a new borderlands and hates even the thought that some resources may be being diverted away from it.

Maybe I just didn't pay attention to the "story" but yea the gameplay is the same exact thing. Uncharted 1 and 2 are nowhere near as similar, considering the setting(s), level design, encounter design and just overall polish in U2 compared to the first. Borderlands is just more of the same with "new" weapons and abilities. I assume the third flop game was even MORE of the same but I didn't play it.
Well it can be a chance to own a physical copy of these games in decent condition. Last gen versions of many of the games being remastered were pretty bad technically.

I expect the pre sequel to come to next gen systems, I would rather just have that if it comes at a cheaper price. Although, companies haven't really been doing that so far....

Definitely not, it's something I expected them to expand upon in the sequels and not tone down. Hell it feels like they even toned down enemy screams in the sequels as well.

I really hate it when you bought the base game, there's a GotY edition comes out several months after that, and you can't even upgrade your game to GotY (like Civ 5 -> Civ 5 Gold)

I believe it might only be the pre-sequel and Borderlands 2 was my information. I don't believe the first game is involved which is a bit odd. I'm not 100% on the original not being there, but I know for sure the Pre-sequel and 2 will be.

Ah, I don't feel like this at all. No-one is forced to buy that stuff, and while I've put my 360 & PS3 away, there's games me and my friends legitimately enjoyed playing together that haven't really been fulfilled on current gen yet. So something like this would be really welcomed in our circle, while people who have had enough of the originals are free to ignore them.
Vanillia Borderlands 1 has more bang on the buck then Destiny's existence. Seriously, go out there and play that series. Like go, now!

If it's all three games and DLC, I'm in on day 1. Borderlands is fucking great co-op. Can't recall the last time I played it on my own though so I can understand why some people are sour on it.

Borderlands 2 has ALL of that same polish that you're praising Uncharted 2 for having over the first game. That's my point. Actually go back and try to play BL1 after playing BL2 and you'll notice it instantly, just like going from UC2 to UC1.

Oh definitely. I played 1 or 2 on PC because the console version was so low framerate. Normally I don't care about that much but Borderlands was a bit too janky.

They require CUDA to be accelerated so....Unlikely they'll be on consoles.
