I just want to go back to MW2, the last true CoD made by the real Infinity Ward team. That game was probably the most fun I ever had both in campaign and multiplayer. Was it balanced? Hell no. Was it super fun? Fuck yeah it was. The graphics are also in my opinion the pinnacle of old school design. You had almost 0 post processing, super clean visuals yet gritty and detailed textures and models. The gunplay was nice and simple, but also very enjoyable. The game was made by passionate gamers to be something fun that they'd want to play, just like how old Bungie was regarding Halo 1-3 development. It was just such a better era than the shit we have going on now.

Yep, I keep seeing certain people praising XDefiant but I've played both betas on PS5 and it was awful. It felt very dated and janky and there is no way its going to even slightly eat into COD's audience.
