Satoshi Tajiri is a weird choice for a placeholder, just saying
I just remembered that Pokemon's 20th anniversary is next year. If this is legit and Tajiri does show up at E3, it might be related to the anniversary.
If it's WIP, could it be that the makers just put those names there temporarily until they actually know who's going to be there?
Feeling very stupid to ask this, but... WIP?

And he couldn't have picked a better word than "confidential"?
It's a modern version of "TOP SECRET"...mostly used to create a pseudo-real effect.
Things like this just seem fishy to me; in general the whole presentation of the intro. ^^
Its a video about motion graphics, he is basically showing how the final title will be animated.

Very rarely. He doesn't really handle the Pokémon series as much. He executive produces, but Junichi Masuda is the main lead on Pokémon these days. He is very seldom seen
Anyway, I'm suspicious of this video. I am unsure as to why we should trust it.
This is my vote too, especially since the point of showing off the video is to demo the motion graphics work. No one in that audience is likely to care about what the text says. The only thing is that they do seem oddly specific for placeholders, but maybe only some of them are.
Work In Progress.

When you want to sell a client on a concept, you send them something with a familiar thread. They could have just used "Grape Jelly" for every text slug until they get the final copy.
Work in progress
Not really... if you google "Who created Pokemon?" he is the first result. It's not ridiculous to guess that someone who's not super familiar with games would do something like that, seeing as Pokemon is very much a pop culture thing and people are aware that it's a gaming thing.Satoshi Tajiri is a weird choice for a placeholder, just saying

You guys, be careful. Some of these are more than likely placeholders. During the breakdown you can see differences from the pitch to first pass animation.
For example, the video says hosted by Kumail Nanjiani, whereas in the breakdown it says hosted by Joel McHale
A lot of these names listed are likely placeholders until the outlet can confirm final bookings. In which case the production house will have different slides that can be dropped in and out for the final show.
Placeholders for TGA this year, my guess.

COD is never revealed that early though? That makes it doubtful unless it is a Modern Warfare collection or something like that.Infinity Ward would make sense for TGA since after BLOPS3 they're next up for COD
You just don't want me to be right about the 20th anniversary Pokemon game being revealed at E3 .
But seriously, if he actually is there then the only reason I can think that he would show up is to be present for the announcement of a game celebrating 20 years of Pokemon.
And *if * the names are right.. Stick of Truth two?

Tajiri would be a surprising get- Masuda handles the promotion of the series, and I've never got the sense that Tajiri is at all comfortable with that side of things.
If they are announcing the obvious 20th anniversary game, that might be something, but... I dunno.
I've been saying we'd be having a 20th anniversary game, with this year off since November so
Yeah, but I've been saying it will be revealed at E3 and you say it won't. WHO WILL WIN THIS ARGUMENT?
This is also the year of the Steam Machines. I can see some big game coming.
Vive consumer vr headsetI swear to god if they actually announce HL3... sigh.
Lol trueE3 is always amazing no matter if real or fake it's always amazing
That would be the worstPokemon Red and Blue remakes...on NX.
Lol. JOEL.
This is going to be perfect.
