Samsung Announces Unpacked Event Sept 3rd - Galaxy Note 4 Incoming

They didn't say anything about the apps that can use multi-window. The stock multi-window for note 3 had such a small amount of available apps to use it was useless depending on what you wanted to do. Rooting and running third-party addons helped out on this, but it was disappointing stock.
Note 4 is good but I worry about battery life with their decisions.
As to the Edge - gimmick.... VR? Not sure what to use it for.
Watch is good looking and good sized for usability. My question is only how long does the battery last? It is the most important question, old one wouldn't last a full day for some people.

The whole conference is very cringe-worthy, IMO.
Maybe because I'm used to Apple's hugely classy keynotes, but these three guys on stage sound as they are trying too hard to be casual and cool.

Yeah I don't either. This would go quite a bit better without her I think. The people who are watching this don't need or want shitty comic relief.

i have no idea why would anyone use stylus on a phone, but apparently it is a big point for Note... I dont plant to use pen ever again personally, except for signing stuff.

Don't think I can quit pens but I completely agree with using a stylus.
My finger is more than enough thanks Samsung.

Say what you want about TouchWiz but Samsung dose some innovative stuff with Android.
Yep as soon they presented their products i closed the stream, Samsung can't do a watchable conference even if it costed their lives.

Higher resolution screen, nearly the same-sized battery (3220 vs 3200 mah), but 7.5% increased battery life. Cool.
Sometimes they tend to go too nuts and don't have a vsion but they always try different things.

Looks really really different.
TouchWiz is really bad. 90% of features are useless.
They do have some cool features (I like the battery saving mode in the S5) but they don't make up for the bloat.
I would much prefer a pure vanilla Android experience. Don't need the gimmicks from Samsung.
They gotta fix the bloat though - touchwiz is huuuge
I just switched to a AOSP rom for my Note 3. Roms that are based on the stock Note 3 Rom? About 2GB. AOSP? ~500MB. Huge difference. I miss some of the main Samsung features, but I honestly didn't use that stuff too much anyway.

Yeah, well lets hope it is... LG G3 has pretty poor real life battery life despite the ratings.
As to the conference, so basically they introduce things in 5 minutes and then these 3 blab about it for an hr? darn.
