Touchwiz is great, it really adds to the functionality of the phone. I love where Samsung tries to take Android.
Looks ok I guess. I'm hoping they change the design and this isn't what it really looks like. I loved my S3, but I admit the plastic case is not desirable and I hope they move from it. It's the only design flaw I saw with the S3 and what I missed most about my Droid X when I left it behind.

is it as light as a s3 or even a iphone 5? that's one of the thing that amazed when i first held a s3.

It's not as light as an iPhone 5, no. It's only weighs 6grams more than the S3, though, so I imagine they'll feel about the same in the hand.

Careful. You'll bring out the "you don't need a case" people. Even though from what I've seen the S3 is by FAR the most brittle phone I've ever had my displeasure to deal with.

Not unless HTC and Sony are able to match Samsung's advertising spend. Which they can't. The S4 is still going to be the best selling Android phone this year by a huge margin.

Considering that my GNex personally has the worst OLED screen ever made, I'm all for a super-nice LCD.
Maybe some of that 2000:1 contrast ratio LCD magic that ASUS has in the padfone 2?

Yeah probably. Samsung made its name for its Galaxy line by "not being an iPhone". HTC and Sony should go the same route by claiming not all Android are built the same, i.e shitty plastic and PSP metal band.

Kind of makes sense from a marketing perspective, in that the Galaxy S3 was a pretty distinctive design with strong brand recognition, which leads me to think they'll want to continue with that.

I love OLED, but it has been surpassed by the LCD2 and LCD3 overall in the last year. It pains me to say it, but when holding them side by side, the difference is so apparent.

Yeah, the OS crashes and extra layer of ugly really add to the overall Android experience.
I'm guessing Samsung believe that they have created a design/brand that people recognise, and want to maintain that as 'their' design. Similar to how Apple are re-tweaking and using the iPhone 4 design, with the key difference being that the iPhone 4 actually looks amazing and still does and uses high quality hardware.
Its probably really cheap for Samsung too using these plastics. Its also the first design that didn't get Samsung in trouble, hurray!

that's the processor listed, the Exynos 5410.
in the configuration they're using, the processor is seen as 4 cores by the OS and the chipset itself switches between the low power and high performance cores automatically.

Well the S3 is 82.9 cm^3 and the iPhone 5 is 55.18 cm^3
So the S3 does weigh less considering it's size.
