I think so, it's not available for pre-order but the release date is the same on that page.CoilShot said:Nice! Wasn't this also coming to the Wii or no?
KOF 98 is awesome. Just go and get it.PTCoakley said:Just put more order in at Amazon. This reminded me that I need to get KOF 98 and Orochi Saga.
The complete collection of the SAMURAI SHODOWN series, containing 7 games; Samurai Shodown, I, II, III, IV, V, V Special and VIThe Mighty Schwein said:So I guess this does NOT have Samurai Shodown 5 Special after all? That's a shame, I think it's went on to become my favorite in the series.![]()
Baron said:Anyone know if this supports progressive scan on the PS2 version? Also, if you play the import Japan-region PS2 version, and you are in North America, can you still play online? I have a Jpn PS2 and am considering this, but I'm spoiled with online in fighters now. No point in an offline fighter, I have no friends interested.![]()

according to the dudes who picked up the JP version, SS V: Special is not included, tis a shame, but its not a fatal loss now is it? And this seems to be the last game SNK is releasing on their own for the foreseeable future, which would be a bad thing, but SNK sucks at distribution and rocks at everything else, so maybe its not.The Mighty Schwein said:That's great if so. But I'll wait for confirmation. On Amazon's own description page it at one point says this has 6 games and then another point says it has 7 games (incl. 5 special).
It still doesn't have Samurai Shodown 5 Special Final, but then again.. Who does?
on a semi-unrelated note, I wish the NEO GEO AES and it's games were more affordable on the used game market. I'd be all over it.The Mighty Schwein said:Why use a PS3 stick when these beauties exist?![]()

I can't believe the price for the PSP version. You'd have to pay ME to play 2D fighters like this or SF on the PSP, and they are charging twice as much. Yes, I realize some people play fighters on the PSP fine but...yuck.

Gunloc said:I want to buy this day one, but I think I'll wait until I see if there are any problems with either of the home versions. Recent SNK compliations on the PS2 have had some issues and the Wii version usually turn out to be the best of the bunch, but it's usually 10 dollars more expensive... :/
Depends what you want to buy for the AES. Most of the common stuff are great games and can be had for $20 to $50 each. System will run you around $150 w/one controller.MrVargas said:on a semi-unrelated note, I wish the NEO GEO AES and it's games were more affordable on the used game market. I'd be all over it.
Isn't V special on the PSN? (HK + JPN) The loading is terrrrrrrible in that one though.HyperZone<3 said:according to the dudes who picked up the JP version, SS V: Special is not included, tis a shame, but its not a fatal loss now is it?
