Read the book if you haven't, it's great. Such a contrast between the people trying to build the greatest world fair ever and Holmes building his killhouse.

It's easily one of my favorite books of all time. Probably mostly because it's a true story, but yeah I really really liked it.

Awesome book with an awesome story and one of my favorite actors. Should be a great movie. And I hope he gets a god damn Oscar for it.

If they've only just procured the rights would it be safe to assume this film wouldn't be released sooner than ~3 years from now?

In the spirit of the book, they should be given a much shorter deadline.

What is it with the internet wanting Leo to win an Oscar so desperately? First of all it is a shit award and second: better actors haven't won one (yet). Look at Gary Oldman. Never got the hype, yeah he is a good actor but not the Messiah people make him out to be.
