SFxT Site Updated See Jin, M. Bison, Ogre & Akuma

Pandora will NOT wait for your super to finish before killing you. It's nice that it really isn't a comeback mechanic at all- you've gotta have a setup.

So...with the lack of 10 or so leaked characters...and only 11 stages...will I lose the bet I made that there will not be a 'super' version of this game?

You won't. Capcom's stated they're contractually unable to release a second version- all updates will be via DLC.

Man this game looks so ugly, especially the UI.

Hah same here. 11 stages is no biggy IMO, they all are VERY active and lively.

Agree, some of the SF4 stages were pure garbage, training and that monkey-man boat stage being among them.

I closed out the stream. Tired of seeing bad kids doing chains on block and jumping like Super Mario Bros. Will wait for WNF and PRAY for the best.

Nice to see Jin in action. Didn't see any of his parry use. Hopefully that's in. I'd love to see Jin parry some fireballs. lol

Jin's super is awesome.
I hate the fact that Capcom is showing Team supers in the reveal trailers instead of individual supers.

Jin's Optic blast super >>>> Jin's karate team super starter

Jin just pulled an EX parry stance on screen, looked like full body invulnerability, as I think ogre sweeped when he did it. Dunno if it chipped or anything like that.

Hopefully they changed Ogre's neutral/entrance animation before finalizing the game- it makes the Seth base for the model way too obvious.

Yeah the stages in SFIV for the most part sucked, I only select Africa and Overpass... would pay $10 DLC for them in this game, no joke.

Rufus got a height restriction on his dive kick implemented.

I would've been annoyed if only Cammy's divekicks were nerfed and Rufus could go into fing GT off his..

Capcom said that there wont be a disc based update.

seems rather skint
I rather have more characters than stages, we have 38 so far and thats pretty good for me.
I like well made stages as everyone else but theyre not the focus of a fighting game.

Don't know how Capcom have made such terrible backdrops with their beatemups this gen. SFIII on the other hand had some incredible backdrops

Give me some Akuma cave shit

My man! The two best stages in SF4, braaapp braaapp
Count me in as well. Such tranquil spots to have a fight.

That general era of Capcom arcade titles had fantastic backgrounds. Alpha 2 in particular really stood out for me in that regard.

I think people need to realize that Day 1/on-disc DLC would likely not happen if it wasn't planned to be DLC. On-disc or on their servers, companies have to factor in DLC to their development from the start. If they wait until the end of development to determine what's going to be DLC or start when the game is gold, they're doing it wrong by today's standards. Sucks, but that's how it is now. If we want more and more characters, we gotta get used to some being day-1.

Bummed about the late PC release.

There is a difference between planning for DLC and choosing to hold back already completed content in order to charge more money for it.

Stages this gen have been real disappointing. At least they're better than 3s. Those were their low point. Game deserved better.

The reason it's "held back" is because it is planned as DLC. They don't just complete everything, then decide what to hold back. That's terrible project planning.

Ibuki and Elena's stages in particular were a major step down from what came before it. Orange everywhere. Don't get me started on what they did to Elena's theme.
