I'm working from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday so that's out of the works for me. Going to see 1408 on Sunday afternoon. If we can get a game going any time Sunday, I can make it.

Got my popgun and tatter tatter achievements last night. The skills/balances I've been using have been mainly achievement oriented considering I can pretty much play decently with anything. I've sucked the past few nights, been rusty. But I want to get my damn elf achievement out of the way. The troll calls me.

I'm down for that, but I can only make it Sunday night. Probably some time later like 9pm pacific. Besada, I have you on my friend list, but you're never playing when I am. When do you usually play?

I'm in Texas, so we have a two hour difference and I usually play when I get home from work. Pretty much 5:00 to 7:00 every night you'll find me on there.

It sounds, so far, like later on Sunday is the best time. What does everyone think of Sunday afternoon/evening.

Afternoon would probably be best, because I got like a +9 hour difference with you guys

Besada, you know I'm down. Sunday night be O.K. for me, have to check with the wife and make sure the baby is O.K. I'm on Eastern time and it's supposed to rain this weekend so no cycling for me. So this may just be the perfect time. ;)

Yeah, that's why I'm trying to place it somewhere in the afternoon. That way the Americans shouldn't have a problem, and you NL and Brit guys can join in before you hit the sack.

Been playing this since it came out but im still finding out alot of stuff which excites me. Using smoke is great to get you out of trouble i never used it and wrote it off its the second thing i buy now after ressurct.
 
Besada I might be down. If you guys are still playing at around 7:00-8:00 eastern time I will play.

Finally got the ten kills in a row achievement to work.
 
The first Shadowrun update is out but the Xbox 360 update doesn't appear to be patching correctly. It won't download for me and I know there's people on the Official Shadowrun Forums complaining about it too. So here's the patch notes...Nothing of any real importance.

Vista:
1) Addressed a problem with viewing Shadowrun in the Games Explorer on the Vista versions for Portugal and Finland.
2) Fixed an issue involving removing the controller while playing on Vista.
3) If you lose your connection to LIVE while playing on Vista, the UI behaves correctly now.

360:
1) Fixed a hard lock that can occur when a player signs out of a profile on 360.
2) Fixed a hard lock that can occur after starting a bot match in Chapter 4 of the training.
3) Fixed an issue that affected voice-over in the Italian 360 version.

Common:
- Fixed a small memory leak that could affect performance and stability in some situations.

The second update will be more meaty and address many of the known issues listed on the Technical Issues forums here. We will post detailed notes when the update gets closer to release.

Stay tuned for news of additional updates. A big thank you to those of you who've worked with us in identifying and tracking issues in the wild - your help and patience are very much appreciated.

I was really skeptical of this game until I got the Demo for it... This is simply an amazing game.

I am having a lot of fun running a tech heavy human with reflexes, enhanced vision and teleport as the main skills and the support skills (rez, tree, things like summon or strangle) being quick casted. I really enjoy how with humans I can get wired reflexes and a gun first round, which is really useful for hunting down those damned elves.

I played last night with Haklong and others last night and had a blizzard blast! Ugh, CommanderJake, please, shush for a second. I will Rez you the second I stop getting shot at.
 
I want my damn 100 elf games! I swore I've played a hundred games, but it says I haven't yet. I want to be a troll so I can break out the minigun and shotgun.
 
Great list. Unlike robut/sugarman, I have craploads of space on my friends list (because I smell bad, probably), so if you want in on the Shadowrun Hoedown (this Sunday, starting around 4:00 PM CST Sunday afternoon until everyone gets sick of it) go ahead and send me a friend request.

Great game last night, might gaffers, even if we got owned several times. Always fun playing with people who aren't complete idiots. Partial idiots are okay, which is why people play with me.

Well me going 0-7 didn't help things any :lol
 
That was pretty surprising. Those guys we were playing were HOT though. Snoop123 was hauling ass around slaughtering people. I was trying to wean myself off Elf/smartlink/smg and trying to get used to new mappings was causing me major problems. Once I quit trying to get my pistol achiement and went back to the SMG, things picked up.

I would lay into them with an SMG and nearly kill them and then they'd smoke and a bunch of others would show up around me. Since I didn't have enough money each round, I kept picking up an SMG. If I had just saved money and bought gust to use, I think we would have done a lot better.

I recently started playing Dwarf (been playing support Elf since the beginning) and I think I like it much better for the support role. I don't know why it took me so long to switch.
 
Robut I tried accepting your invite but it wouldn't let me join. Anyway I ran into the most skilled Sniper I've seen in Shadowrun. I'm a good sniper in Halo, and decent in Shadowrun, but this guy was head shotting people on Gliders like nothing. If he could see you, you were dead. Was pretty insane.

Going to try to get some more games in later. Leaving for a one week vacation to Florida tomorrow night.

Yeah, that was great fun. I'm going to play tonight so I hope you guys are on. You do really well as a support guy.

That commanderjess kid was someone I played with earlier and since I kicked butt in that game he joined the party. Good kid but the boy needs patience.
 
anyone else having trouble with the patch. It tries to download, but then immediately fails. The big problem is that it boots me back to the dashboard, so i basically can't even log into Shadowrun.

I tried several times to get it, gave up and played a match against bots and after that tried again it worked.

Haha I have actually been buying Gust almost every round. Smoke seems really really popular and I love killing people with gust. I thought i was useless at first, but it's nice to keep people off their game.
 
My Xbox is out of comission for the time being while I wait to send it back to MS for repairs. I'll still be playing on Vista though, add me to your list if you're looking to get 100 kills for the other platform, though I put up a good fight. :)
