The outcome of this I would like to see, for selfish reasons of course, is that Shawn is in a position where he can be creative and make a real visible contribution to the project, something that is identifiably Shawn's work. It would be a disappointing end if he is simply swallowed up into one of those huge 100+ person teams.

All the best to you Shawn. You are the most intelligent and thoughtful writer of video game criticism I've come across, able to discuss high minded concepts and questions, while avoiding a lecturing or overly dry tone.

Now, you and Jeff just need to get Ryan working on a licensed Booster Gold point and click adventure, and all will be right with the world.

Most people are concerned that we won't be able to hear from Shawn on a regular basis... and that sucks. If that's the sacrifice he has to make in order to do something he enjoys, then that's fine; I just hope his new overlords don't muzzle him.
