Shitty games that your dumb ass paid full price for

Destiny. Such a bland game. It's just a glorified slot machine imo. My copy is also pretty much useless now since you need to buy their shitty DLC to "expand" it. It's a shame because the shooting is actually pretty great. If the game had a more interesting and open world, it could have been this generation's GOW or Halo. Don't know what happened to Bungie in the transition from Halo to Destiny. It still puzzles me why people enjoy it as much as they do. It's really frustrating because they nailed certain parts of it and if they worked on it longer instead of focusing on what DLC they are going to release 100 years from now, it could have been groundbreaking.

What's really tragic is watching all the E3 reveal videos, early development playthroughs, and early ViDocs. The game was going to be phenomenal. However something happened that changed things for the worse. Just wish we knew what.

Madworld & No More Heroes 2. Paid full price on release day. Both dropped to like $10 within a short time. Both were bad games. I did like the 1st No More Heroes, but the second one was crap. I bought them to support 3rd party/rated M/non-shovelware on the wii. I realized now it's stupid to give my money to for-profit corporations. I have my own expenses to worry about, not a for-profit corporation. If I have money to burn in the future, I'll give it to a charity.

I gave that pos game away

which is really sad since I am a kof fan

Destiny.

They pump the Raid(s) as the main feature so hard, and i'll never be able to do them due to lack of matchmaking, work and family. So that basically leaves me with a story-less shell supported by excellent gunplay.

Shame.

Doubt i'll even entertain the thought of supporting the sequel.

Warhammer Online. Although I enjoyed it while it lasted. I was real close to buying Hellgate: London for full price on Day 1. Luckily I held off on that one.

Titanfall. Not a shitty game to be fair, but seeing as I'm not into MP FPS it was real dumb of me to buy at full price. Seen it on sale so many times. I blame having a new Xbone and not much to do with it at the time.

Fell for the Destiny hype and got the White PS4 Destiny bundle. Ended up with disappointment. PS4 is pretty great though.
Resident Evil 6 only ever played the first hour and never really got back into it.

Aliens Colonial Marines - I can't properly describe the anger, disappointment and disgust that ran through me after about an hour playing.

Duke Nukem Forever - sigh.

Billy Hatcher - man, Sega fooled me hard with this game.

Shellshock 2 - I'm still not over paying full price for this travesty.

Latest games I regret buying:

- GTA V next gen (played it like 15 mins)
- Watch Dogs
- Shadow of Mordor.
- Fifa 15
- Smash Bros U
- Killzone PS4 (bundled with the PS4 so no biggie)
- Wonderful 101 (although that one I got for free)

GTA was too fresh in my memory, and the gameplay is completely crappy.
Watch Dogs and Mordor I just hated. And Fifa still isn't a real football game because of retard AI. And Smash I played for like 30 mins max. Felt so familiar, I might start playing that a bit later on though.

Oh, and I sold Fifa, Mordor and Watch Dogs. Didn't want to own them.

I think you should stop buying triple A games I don't think they are for you at the moment! I would suggest playing some old games, smaller games or different genre of games such as JRPGs or whatever tickles your appetite. Mainstream is not for you though!

Super Street Fighter IV (played a few hours but lacked motivation to play on)
Okami (okay, it was only E25, but still - biggest rip-off ever, frustration in disc format)
Ace Attorney 5 (somehow finished the game)

With these titles, I cannot exactly blame myself for impulse-buying a shovelware title, as they do get good reviews. Yet I never enjoyed any of them.

The new Sim City.

I am still ridiculously bitter about it.

One thousand times this. As a huge fan of the series, this was by far the most painful thing EA could have possibly done.

Still very pissed that I paid full price on day 1. I was first able to log into play it on like day 7. Then it turned out the entire simulation engine was a complete garbage mess and still is to this day. The game also should've been named Sim Tiny Village. See? Still so much anger to this day.

I purchased Fable and The Simpsons: Hit and Run on their day of release.

Fable wasn't terrible, but it was the first and last time I ever fell for Peter Molyneux's bullshit. TS: H&R was mediocre beyond belief. Should have been sold for $10 at most. Quintessential bargain bin trash.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006

Yup.
Ouch. That had to hurt. You have my condolences.
What the hell am I reading? This is one confusing thread
Opinions are diverse, and strong

And sometimes certifiably insane

And sometimes flat out wrong

This was my personal mistake. It's not even the worst game in the world, it's just not a good one. For what it's worth, I did actually have a lot of fun with it, especially its multiplayer modes. Game had plenty of potential, was just too damn jank.

Coincidence they're all Capcom?

From the top of my head:

- Twisted Metal 3: My god, the physics and simple map design killed this one. What a disappointment after the stellar TM2. Good thing for Rogue Trip.

- South Park 64: The humor was the only thing that kept me playing... for a little while. I was young and foolish.

- Duke Nukem Forever: 'Nuff said. Granted I did get some enjoyment from it, based on the fact that I never even thought I'd have a chance to ever play this piece of vaporware.

- Sonic 2k6: Sigh.

Few memories

Beyond the Beyond, I bought this game as it was the first JRPG released on the Playstation. I had been waiting months for it to come out. Bought it day 1 at Best Buy for 50 bucks. I still remember opening it, reading the instructions on the way home. The game had a lot of issues...the graphics were sub par, the music was pretty bad, the story was boring, the encounter rate was ridiculous and there were a few parts in the game where it was easy to get completely lost.

Still, I played through the whole damn thing because it was all I had.

Check out the sweet intro

This peice of trash was the first straw that broke my love of JRPGs around the time it was released.

Before this I would play almost any JRPG but this one was such trash that I started to be skeptical of most non-final fantasy entries. Such a dumb, ripoff game.

Good choice, I also bought that game day 1 at full price. It looked great initially...was 3 or 4 disk, good graphics, obviously a very high budget...the story was so uninspired though and the combat was lame. I didn't even get past disk 1.

WWF European Rampage for the Amiga is the worst game I ever bought. If I'd waited a week instead of buying it as soon as it came out, I would have had a chance to read the scathing review in Amiga Format and saved myself some pocket money. I seem to remember them giving it about 20%.

More recently, the worst game I have purchased at full price would be Lords Of The Fallen. It's just a really average game. It completely rips off Dark Souls, but lacks the atmosphere, character, and gameplay. The most annoying thing was that I knew before I bought it that it was the kind of game that would soon be reduced in price, but I still went ahead and paid full price.
