I barely turned the thing on this year. Played most stuff on PC. Hasn't been a big year for games for me until August, I haven't checked my WoW Classic played time yet and I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing so.

I wonder when the cutoff was. I clocked at least 140 hours in Dragons Dogma in early December.

The fact that I played ESO as much as I did must mean I am starved for a good WRPG.

Apparently ESO was my top game this year.
More surprising is apparently I had a 10 hour streak at some point. I'd guess that was either ESO or my partner playing Tetris Effect.

I only played two games, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Death Stranding. Most of 2019 was PC and Switch for me.

You know what really burns my ass?
Not that the PSN can apparently track all this and still not show me my stats whenever I like, despite years of users requesting such a feature.
No, what gets me is they always damn could. There are users posting shows of their top games being PS1 disc games being run on a PS3. They can and actively do track shit on outdated consoles, and apparently always could....but we can never get at that data unless it's one of these dumb 'events'.

Yeah, I got Action Hero but clicking Redeem Rewards just brings up a side window asking me to log into PSN. But I am, and I even turned on my PS4 to see if that mattered, and it didn't.

Telltale's Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, Days Gone, and Evil Within 2 were my 4 platinums of the year.

As with most PSN events like this, the site is being slammed, so you get nothing right now.
Wait a few hours (actual weekly PSN update isn't for another three hours) and it'll probably work fine.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing today, clearly they have the ability to track this, it shouldn't be hard for them to provide this shit on a profile page or something. I don't get why I can't see how many hours I've played a game from the system OS though.

Jesus people, looking at the hours you play... Don't you have jobs or school or something?

I'll have to check mine and then post it, might have to eat some crow haha
I have a job (with a pretty quick route, it only takes me 20 minutes max to get to and from). But I'm also single with no kids, and I only see my closest friends who are about 40 minutes away on Saturdays and about 1/3 of those Saturdays we won't be able to hang out due to them having other plans. Add in my work vacations and holidays, yeah my total sounds about right.

I know your question was probably rhetorical, but just wanted to chime in with an explanation.

It was 100% a joke. It's really none of my business. I just see numbers that are mind bogglingly high for some people and that have them gaming more than 10 hours a day, everyday. That is a staggering amount of time to spend on games. Again, it's not my business even remotely, I just wonder how people find the time. With sleep, eating , and bathroom breaks it seems almost impossible. Possible errors?

I'll pull mine and see what I am at

Edit: 581 hours for me.

Cancun, Mexico.

Holy shit played that much Ninja Warriors? It is a game I can finish in 45 minutes. My GOTY for a reason.

Those VR hours between No Man's Sky and Tetris Effect. It checks out.

I'm regards to mine, a good chunk of that is idle time. I'll start the game, get sidetracked with something else and leave the game running for hours cause I'll be right back '.
