I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a Classic Controller, though. A Classic Controller Pro would probably be better, as I think it has digital shoulder buttons.

And I just realized last night the game must have set the difficulty for me [after dying so much, I guess] because I just checked and it's set to easy and I definitely started a normal playthrough...

You'd be fucking nuts to play this with a GC controller.

It's not only demonstratively worse than the wiimote/nunchuck option (believe me, I tried), the game plain and simple isn't balanced for it. You can win the game with the GC controller, sure, but a wiimote user will destroy you in scores.

It's a much better alternative to the usual a collage of CGI art of the main characters. Or worse, angry eyebrows Isa!
