This makes me want to paraphrase the Simpsons.

Now let's take a look at the killer Pokeball update bearing down on us like a shotgun full of Pokeballs.

Well, Kent, the death toll is currently at zero but it is ready to shoot right up!

I'm thinking that Samus is largely unchanged, Pikachu is largely unchanged, etc so he might cross-post the same type of update for them or at least handle them as a triple update since veterans of melee would be familiar with them anyway and the numbers game gets interesting with every update.

I'm expecting a large Poke Balls From Previous Installments update, but when it comes to moves, a double update would be my expectation.
We did get Mario + Link and Kirby + Pikachu double updates even for full character profiles, so a set of special moves like Samus + Fox or Yoshi + Pikachu would sound about right to me. They're all veterans of the series from day one, even.

Y-you're correct, I missed that. :o HOW DID MY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEM FAIL.

Well, actually my system is taking a manual look over some sorted categories, but there's nothing to say I sorted everything correctly in the first place, which is where things can fall apart. Anyway, I'll add it in, thanks. :D

And on that note, I'm done for the night. The sooner I go to sleep, the sooner I wake up and find out whether VC Monday's NES game and Genesis game will be Bubble Bobble and Shining Force II respectively.

I found this update rather boring.
Suprise, I'll still buy smash and Sakurai still wont know I exist.

Why would anyone flame you for that? We all think the update was boring too. After Stage Builder, we've had like three weeks of raw, bitter disappointmenton.

Speaking of which, I need to change my avatar. I'm not feeling any hype over Bomberman.

LOL I have his post and pictures scrapbooked for posterity. Some of those, er.... characters are pretty hilarious actually. lol cosplay.
 
What the... banning discussing a certain likely 3rd party character because an event came and went without a reveal? It's not like I had anything to say on the subject at the moment, but this is a pretty damn arbitrary ban. I'm sure the conversation about it would've died down anyway, other than the random mention here or there. Now I have to be paranoid that any element of my post must not mention the forbidden character?

I'm reading the backlogs, was it another daft bet? Why don't those get banned along with the memes? Especially when they rope in people who don't agree to jack. I'm not SuperAngelo, I shouldn't be bound to whatever blind gamble he makes.

Yeah, I see now that sp0rsk was the one who proposed the ban. So it was basically an administration move with a very tiny potential "out". (Because I'm not even sure we would've heard about Sonic before release if it weren't for the fact that Brawl was delayed. I think the Sonic reveal was an apology.)

I still think it's a worrying move. This is the second character to get semi-blacklisted. The first we KNOW is in the game to some capacity. The second has potential, but we can't talk about it now because that would be annoying.


Edit: Wow, thank you AzureNightmareXE for making my post completely impossible to read until some replies come along.

Heh... no. You're implying that they'd be able to add enough content to the game to create one new update per day, and that's completely ridiculous.

They're readable if you log out... but if you encounter a heated topic, and you can't say anything, it is a pain that no man should bear....
 
Well, I have no idea who agreed to this bet, there was NO chance of us winning the bet and even if Sporsk would have lost, the prize wasn't worth the size of the bet. I don't get Sporsk, what is the use of a thread if you limit discussion? :\
