At least if we get a Tuesdayton we can count on like half of GAF pouring into the thread anyway just to toss out some one-line exuberance. The only past Tuesdaytons were The Musicians and Wi-Fi Play, though, and with the way Novembust (thanks, JohnTinker) has been going I'm not counting on much. >_>
 
I've had my differences with usea in the past, but his exiting post was amazing and inspirational.

This MEGAMAN is for you, usea. I regret nothing!
 
At least someone escaped the ban hammer.........but for how long. Can we at least talk about other third party characters?
 
I'm predicting a character. Either Ridley or Ness. Because at this point, there's not much else that can make up for this day of fail.
 
Wishful thinking says that the last nine November update days will go Redemption Total on us and include custom soundtrack support, a full-fledged sidescrolling RPG mode, Mii support, an item that imports images from the SD card and blurs them (you know why), the Animal Crossing character, an alternate outfits update that shows the girl AC character and a girl Pokemon Trainer, the fly-swatting game from Mario Paint, a playable Nintendo DS, and most importantly of all to some people in this thread, the ability to show something other than the GC controller in menu shots.

But really, I expect PLAYABLE MIIS more than I do expect PAC-MAN.

I'm starting to think November = No characters.

My predictions for the rest of the week.
Tuesday - Pokemon update
Wednesday - Subspace update
Thursday - level update
Friday - New game mode

Hopefully I'm wrong...

I'd be ecstatic if you were right. [Edit: About the rest of week, I mean, not about November having no characters.] Stages, game modes, and story mode updates are great, almost up there with characters and music. :D
 
I'll keep that needle firmly lodged in my arm vein. It is rather rewarding when you get that new character.

Just reveal Ness, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, and Ridley and I'll be happy, Sakurai.

Ridley would be an impressive Boss Character.

Hopefully Samus's story update will come soon to reveal him. From the screenshots given on the day of the Massive Sub-Space Em. upate, Samus and Link&Yoshi are the only other scenarios so far that we know of that were not shown in motion.

StarTropics never came out in Japan, so I don't think we'll be seeing it in Brawl in any capacity.

who cares! it could still happen, I mean as far as we know Mother 3 isnt comming to the states and Lucas is still in smash.

its not like he is a character who wouldent fit at all and would need lots of new made up moves, he is pretty much perfect for Smash (then again, so was Little Mac...)

You wouldn't like to have a bout with Ridley in all his glory and size? He would be able to do flying sequences like Master Hand and some more.

Just play as Charizard. Ridley can't be any bigger than him if he was playable. :P Heh.

I don't hate Ridley, btw.

Ridley's size varies. Using his Melee intro size, he would be perfectly playable.

And yes, I would rather have him as a character than a boss. I will probably play Brawl's multiplayer forever, while as cool as Subspace is, I'll eventually get bored of it.

I must agree. I know for a fact that I'll only play single player several times before I get bored of it, so I'd rather have him as a playable character even though it would be nice to see him as a boss.
 
I think it's cute that you guys are trying to test me, but I'm getting rather tired of you.

Zeed got 2 weeks, and the next person is going to get one muuuuuuuuch longer.

I was wondering how there had been so many posts about the ice climber's final smash since the last time I read. Now I see that they aren't at all about it.

Now all the posts are about who is getting banned and who isn't, they aren't even about the game. Bleah. :(

I don't see it happening. If he's playable than cool, more power Villains and Metroid. If they use that model, they better give him a WAY better look. He looks too deformed to me, he's all head and no neck.
