Now we just wait for the confirmation f that stage

As you guys can see, there's still a spot left in the stage section:

Heh, maybe I'm just looking to much into it.

I've never understood the "empty space" argument (whether it's for stages or characters). There was also only one empty space when we had seven stages, and then when we had eleven, and then when we had fifteen. There's nothing stopping them from adding another row when the time comes for it.

Except back then, the game was months and months from release.

We're looking at, what, five weeks now?

Yeah, but the Melee site was still getting updates for months after that game came out in Japan.

Edit: I'm looking over it right now. I hope the "contest" in this URL means that there was actually a user-voted picture contest, because now I want one for Brawl. :o
(I say user-voted because otherwise I'm not sure Nintendo voting would have let through stalker Ganondorf, a Peach and Daisy kiss, a gratuitous panty shot, and another one.)

Confirmation that marth and roy are gone?

The entire character roster for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has yet to be released, but several fan faves will be missing in action. There are a considerable amount of new playable characters, but anytime characters go missing, people are going to get testy. Smaller changes such as removing Marth and Roy and replacing them with Ike and Lyn (who's an assist trophy) have players up in arms. - Bryan Dawson

Super Smash expert Bryan Dawson is currently working on the official Prima guide for the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game.

oh dear..

As far as I'm concerned, nothing's confirmation until the game or the Dojo says so (or we get video proof, but video proof isn't applicable here; since we have no idea what the full character select screen would look like, we wouldn't know if characters were missing or not).

This was already talked about on Smash Boards a few days ago. The Prima guy, Dawson, in the end, knows just about as much as we all do. And that's pretty much diddly.

It was like that 4 stages ago. And 8. And 12. And 16.

I'm changing my prediction from How to Play: Crawling to How to Play: Swimming. Hopefully with pictures and some sort of explanation of how this makes even the remotest sense for Sonic, Samus, and Charizard.

Perhaps Sonic has on little floaties?

Why Samus?

I think crawling will be something used in the SE mode with those characters. Like vents in Snake's stage and such.

She always needs a suit upgrade before she can move at more than like 25% speed underwater, and even then she's never been able to swim. Would have made some parts of Super Metroid and especially Metroid Prime 1 a lot easier, though, I admit. >_>

This Squirtle thing reminds me of all the overanalyzing over those clouds in that one Subspace shot. I'm still waiting for Ridley.

Gonna predict a Final Smash is gonna show up tonight.

Because my Eagles won today, and I'm feeling pretty good/buzzed, I'm predicting a long overdue character update: Animal Crossing Villager. Granted, I have yet to get an update right so far :lol , I think my luck will change tonight.

Eh, I'll go on a limb, and say "Final Smash" update. Been a minute since we got one, and we still got the likes of Sonic or Zamus to cover.

Yeah....no.

I predict todays new update will be...

Item: Pokemon Egg.

Thats right! a Pokemon Egg. Now you don't have to walk 10,000 steps to hatch it!

You just smash it up a little and BAM!

a baby pokemon hatches!

Look! its a really deformed Magby!

He should have hatched the normal way.

The dead fetus just kinda lays there the rest of the battle.

Poor little pokemon

I'm going to sleep early today, so watch it be the one day where something good gets announced. I'm calling it now, whatever the update is tonight, it's gonna be big, and I'm not gonna be here.

Now that you've said that, it won't be.

Way to screw it up for everyone!
