This has got to be my favorite music update so far. I think I'll be spending too much time on the sound test mode or playing stages just to hear the music.. Awesome.

It would be so cool if NOA released a SSBB special edition that included the soundtrack CD and other extras.

I won't be holding out too much hope that we'll get Olimar's moves tomorrow or anything, since only Sonic--elite of the elite--has gotten simultaneous updates like that, but we'll see. Being counted among the ranks of Pokemon Trainer and Snake is a pretty high honor already, in terms of fame!

I really hope our dear friend AbyssWolf does the right thing and puts Pikmin & Olimar on the left side. Yeah, the right technically only has 11 characters while left has 12, but they're still getting outnumber-owned by the right side with its Ice Climbers and Pokemon Trainer double/triple-teaming.

BTW, nice comparison pics with Olimar, Diddy and Mario. It looks like Olimar will be the shortest character, or at least tied with Squirtle. That should count for something considering he's supposed to be tiny in the first place.

Considering how all out the rest of this game really is, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up having a MvC 2 sized roster. I mean we're probably deep into the thirties when it comes to characters that should come out, so you'd only need what, a dozen or so more characters to get into that range?

I'm sure I'll like the game no matter how many characters they fit in, but whatever.

Also, the reason the price hasn't been fixed yet? Maybe they are going to include a bluetooth headset in with the package!

24 announced + 4 hidden from SSB + 9 from Melee = 37

Yeah, twenty more would be a bit ridiculous, but 45 or so isn't unbelieveable, and close enough to MvC range for me.

I mean, of course, new characters, levels, new features, all that would be nice. But I think if it never updated with that stuff, I'd be totally okay.

If Sakurai still wants to surprise us, I think cel shaded Link instead of normal young Link would be an awesome treat. The roster would be pretty much all I expect then.
