Heart Swap is a Manaphy exclusive move. It swaps the stat boosts/decreases with the opponent. So if you have a +4 spatk Manaphy vs a +4atk Gyarados, Manaphy would get +4 atk and Gyarados would get +4 spatk.

Oh, right, the way stat boosts work in Pokemon is that each time your stat goes up, it goes up by 1 "level". If you use an attack that greatly increases a stat, it goes up 2 "levels".

1 = 150%
2 = 200%
3 = 250%
4 = 300%
5 = 350%
6 = 400%

that multiplier is applied to your stat. So a Charizard with 200 attack who gets +6 stat boost would have 1200 attack! ^_^

Ack, I see some terrible kill stealing happening with Manaphy!

1) Manaphy pops out as you land a killing strike. Suddenly you're flying towards certain doom.
2) They say that suicide won't work, but what if you manage to time your suicide with the effect wearing off? The person finds themselves plummeting to their death, and there's nothing they can do.

Now I'm unbelievably curious to play the game, if only to see if any Grandia-esque elements have made it through.

They have to attack everyone though. It should be an AT that starts out docile, and remains until it gets attacked. As it gets attacked, more Cuccos start spawning and attacking. Attacking them defends, but it gets more Cuccos to attack.

That 6800 Yen is inclusive of the 5% tax fee, so the prices should be roughly equal as far as the relative values of the currencies and incomes are concerned. The dollar is also down, which makes it more expensive for the dollar than it really is.
